Fantasy baseball waivers and the acquisition of fantasy baseball free agents can make or break your season. Your fantasy baseball cheat sheets won't help you after spring training. If your team remains the same after opening day, you will have trouble competing in your rotisserie baseball league.

Do you need to replace your fantasy baseball busts? Which fantasy baseball players can you ignore?'s Fantasy Baseball Diamond Market gives you fantasy baseball tips and insight to sort through the masses quickly.

Corner infielders

Mitch Moreland, 1B, Texas Rangers

Texas Rangers SP Rich Harden
Impact SP seeking wise owner

The club traded for Jorge Cantu, a right-handed hitter, to improve its situation at first base. He has been spelling Michael Young at the hot corner on occasion, though; Moreland, a lefty, has started seven of Texas' last eight games at first.

Moreland has seven hits, one for extra bases, in 21 at-bats. If he continues to get on base and the Rangers continue to platoon him, he could play pretty regularly. It's not something to bank on, but consider the possibilities, especially in Texas.

Moreland displayed solid but not outstanding power in the minors. He has been a doubles machine who makes contact and hits for average. He hit 16 homers in 471 at-bats last year, 12 in 353 this year.

Rich Harden, SP, Texas Rangers

Harden, as usual, has been a frustrating commodity, but he still packs potential. He's just sitting there in roughly half of the fantasy baseball universe since his DL activation last Saturday. Stashing him isn't a bad idea.

While he was on the DL, Harden worked on his mechanics extensively, especially in an effort to keep the ball down. In his gem of a start (seven innings, five hits, one run, two walks and three K's) against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, he induced more grounders than flies for the first time this season.
