Bryce McRae's Week 14 fantasy football matchups

by Bryce McRae on December 11, 2009 @ 15:04:57 PDT

Keep an eye on these matchups in Week 14:

Key Matchup Reason
Johnny Knox, WR, CHI vs. Jarrett Bush, CB, GB Knox could wind up being covered by Bush - depending on where Charles Woodson lines up; Bush is a PI penalty waiting to happen
Ray Rice, RB, BAL vs. Detroit Lions front seven Detroit has been fairly solid against the run of late; it took Cedric Benson 36 carries to rack up 110 yards last week; QB Joe Flacco is in sophomore slump
Reggie Wayne, WR, IND vs. Champ Bailey, CB, DEN Wayne has disappointed of late, but he has been seeing double coverage; if Broncos single cover Wayne, and they might, the WR should go off
Brandon Jacobs, RB, NYG vs. Philadelphia Eagles front seven Don't be fooled by Brandon Jacobs' strong game last week - a lot came on one pass play; Philly is tough in the middle, too, where Jacobs likes to work
Thomas Jones, RB, NYJ vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers front seven The Bucs made some adjustments to slow down Jonathan Stewart last week; QB Kellen Clemens doesn't scare anyone - Jets should stack box against TJ
