The Associated Press reports Green Bay Packers LB Jeremy Thompson (neck) was hospitalized for testing Friday, Dec. 4, after suffering a neck injury in a collision with RB Kregg Lumpkin during practice. Head coach Mike McCarthy said Thompson remained conscious after the neck stinger. The team classified the injury as a neck sprain and said Thompson would be kept overnight in hospital for further evaluation.
