Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT

If you are serious about winning your fantasy league football championship, stay on top of your fantasy football team throughout the year.

Each week during the NFL fantasy football season, KFFL brings you its Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, which breaks down players to pick up. Be aggressive when picking up fantasy football free agents. Even if you do not need a player, you can tuck him away for depth or block others from adding him to their fantasy football team.

Fantasy football free agents: Look to acquire

The following players will have greater significance in deep fantasy football leagues. In shallow fantasy football leagues, they are not as high of a priority but should be considered based on your fantasy football team's needs.

Kenny Britt, Tennessee Titans (80 percent)

Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt
Tennessee's Brittish invasion

Public service announcement: Britt hauled in seven passes for 128 yards in the signature outing of quarterback Vince Young's young career. Since Justin Gage (back) took a seat, Britt has been VY's favorite wideout, with 22 targets in Tennessee's last three games. Young won't throw for nearly 400 - heck, nearly 200 - yards every week, but Britt is quality depth, especially with Gage's health still in doubt.

Jason Avant and Reggie Brown, Philadelphia Eagles (77 percent and 99 percent)

DeSean Jackson suffered a concussion in Week 12. The extent isn't known, but we've seen the uncertainty that comes with such an injury and the caution that results.

On Sunday Brown replaced Donovan McNabb's most dangerous target and had a couple of passes chucked his way. He has been virtually nonexistent since 2007, but Brown figures to benefit most in terms of PT. The outside receiver in this offense can be a valuable fantasy commodity.

Avant, a Michigan man, is one of No. 5's go-to guys on third down. Tight end Brent Celek (hand) was injured Sunday, too, leaving Avant as the receiver with whom McNabb is perhaps most comfortable. Either Philly wideout could provide valuable fantasy depth.

Fantasy football free agents: One-week plays

The following fantasy football pickups are for those who need injury or bye week replacements. They are not players you immediately acquire - unless your team is in dire straights. Some have, however, shown some life and should be followed in case they materialize as options beyond their temporary use.

NEW - Nate Washington, Tennessee Titans (47 percent)

Nate Dubs had nine targets in Week 12 as quarterback Vince Young aired it out 41 times. That won't happen often, but Washington stands to benefit as Justin Gage's (back) long-term injury opens things up in the wideout hierarchy. It looks like Kenny Britt is the No. 1, but Washington is no slouch when given his chances.

This week, the Titans face the Indianapolis Colts, who have allowed 17.75 receptions, 223.3 yards and a score per game to wideouts in their last four. Don't believe the return of cornerback Kelvin Hayden (knee) will be enough to drastically decrease these numbers.
