Bryce McRae's Week 12 fantasy football matchups

by Bryce McRae on November 27, 2009 @ 00:00:00 PDT

Keep an eye on these matchups in Week 12:

Key Matchup Reason
Tim Hightower, RB, ARI vs. Tennessee Titans front seven Which back to choose in Cards' backfield? The Titans give up a ton of receptions to backs, making Hightower the preferable option
Lee Evans, WR, BUF vs. Miami Dolphins secondary QB Ryan Fitzpatrick likes to look downfield more; Evans has burned 'Phins in the past; Terrell Owens should draw most of coverage
Jamaal Charles, RB, KC vs. San Diego Chargers front seven Chargers haven't been great against run of late (4.4 YPC); speedy Charles should be in charge - both rushing and receiving
Jay Cutler, QB, CHI vs. Minnesota Vikings secondary Vikes should have no trouble dealing with Chicago's defense; Cutler could be throwing a lot (INTs, yes!) but could exploit weak link in Minny D (TDs, yes!)
Bernard Scott, RB, CIN vs. Cleveland Browns front seven Expect to still see a healthy dose of Scott even if Cedric Benson (hip) plays; should be plenty of chances against Cleveland's sieve-like run D, too
