Fantasy football sleepers: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT

In this article KFFL breaks down the fantasy football sleepers of the week. We will avoid marquee names because players of that caliber are rarely benched, regardless of their matchup. Instead, we will focus on the players that make your fantasy lineup decisions stressful each week. Read on to learn which midrange to low-end players that you wouldn't necessarily consider that you need to get into your lineup.

Note: All statistics are from Week 7 to Week 10, unless otherwise noted.

Fantasy football sleepers: Place kickers

Shayne Graham, Cincinnati Bengals at Oakland Raiders

Fantasy value: Midrange No. 1

  • Graham attempted a season-high five field goals in Week 10, making four of them. His only miss was from more than 50 yards out.
  • Only two other teams have given up more fantasy points to kickers in the last six weeks (five games). Kickers have attempted 3.00 field goals per game in that time - the most in the league.
  • You can find Graham available in 80 percent of leagues. After the Raiders this week, he faces the Cleveland Browns and the Detroit Lions, both top matchups for kickers. Pick him up if you are playing the matchups; he should cover you for at least three weeks.

John Kasay, Carolina Panthers vs. Miami Dolphins

Fantasy value: No. 1 or bench

  • Kasay wasn't called upon much last week (one field goal attempt), but he attempted two field goals in each of the three games before Week 10. The Panthers' offense has been moving the ball better in recent weeks, too; this could indicate Kasay may be in line for more kicks in the coming weeks.
  • No team has surrendered more fantasy points to opposing kickers over the last six weeks (five games). They are giving up 2.80 field goal attempts and 2.40 extra point attempts per game in that time.
  • The Cats kicker is available in 80 percent of leagues and makes a fine one-week play if you need a replacement at this position.

NEW - Rian Lindell, Buffalo Bills at Jacksonville Jaguars

Fantasy value: No. 1 or bench

  • The Bills are going back to Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback, but Lindell has chipped in regardless of who's calling the shots. He totaled just 17 kicking points in the previous three weeks, but he is 7-for-8 on field goals in his last four and has missed just two attempts on the year.
  • Perhaps the firing of head coach Dick Jauron will act as a motivational lift for the Bills' anemic offense.
  • The Jags have let opponents line up for 3.00 field goal and 1.67 PAT attempts per game while also yielding the second most kicking points per outing (9.7).
