Fantasy football sleepers: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT

In this article KFFL breaks down the fantasy football sleepers of the week. We will avoid marquee names because players of that caliber are rarely benched, regardless of their matchup. Instead, we will focus on the players that make your fantasy lineup decisions stressful each week. Read on to learn which midrange to low-end players that you wouldn't necessarily consider that you need to get into your lineup.

Note: All statistics are from Week 7 to Week 10, unless otherwise noted.

Fantasy football sleepers: Wide receivers

Percy Harvin, Minnesota Vikings vs. Seattle Seahawks

Fantasy value: No. 2 or No. 3

  • Minnesota Vikings WR Percy Harvin
Harvin The Martian not from this world
Harvin has had six games of three-plus receptions, but he has mainly been conserved for his speed. The rook has averaging 13.6 yards per grab this season, but since Week 3, his figure stands at a more dangerous 15.5.
  • The Seahawks' per-game numbers against wideouts: 12.00 catches, 167.0 yards and 2.00 touchdowns per game, along with a 13.9 receiving average. Cornerback Marcus Trufant returned recently from an extensive injury but hasn't looked effective.
  • Harvin's big-play ability makes him a part of their rushing attack, as well; he has run off 5.1 yards per run on nine attempts. Seattle has allowed a robust 4.6 yards per carry to running backs.

Kelley Washington, Baltimore Ravens vs. Indianapolis Colts

Fantasy value: Flex or bench

  • As the No. 3 wideout in Baltimore, Washington has registered at least three catches six of his eight games this season.
  • The Colts have allowed 16.25 catches, 205.0 yards and 0.75 touchdowns per game to wideouts. The first two figures rank inside the bottom two defensive averages in the league.
  • Indy's new starting corners, Jerraud Powers and Jacob Lacey, have kept their secondary afloat, but their nickel and dime backs have been less dependable. Washington will often line up against these backups in Week 11.
  • You can grab Washington as a one-week rental off the wire in almost every polled league.

NEW - Devery Henderson, New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Fantasy value: Midrange No. 3

  • With Lance Moore (knee) not looking good for Week 11, expect Henderson to continue his increased workload. More known as a deep all-or-nothing threat, Henderson has seen at least six targets in three of his last four games; in the last month he also has averaged 18.8 yards per grab.
  • The Bucs have allowed one of the five highest yards-per-catch averages (15.8), which speaks to Henderson's main skill. Tampa Bay also has allowed 12.33 catches, 194.3 yards and 1.33 scoring receptions per outing.
  • Understand that Henderson is often a hit-or-miss play, but his increased utilizations improve his chances of contributing.
