Updating previous reports, the Los Angeles Times' Dylan Hernandez reports Los Angeles Dodgers SP Vicente Padilla's agent Adam Katz said Padilla (leg) was treated for a minor gunshot wound in his right leg. Padilla was grazed in his right thigh by a bullet, and the incident was deemed a "hunting accident." At least two news outlets reported that Padilla was accidentally shot by his "escort," who was trying to fix Padilla's malfunctioning gun.

The Baltimore Sun's Dan Connolly reports Baltimore Orioles P Alfredo Simon (elbow) accepted his outright assignment. Simon is rehabbing from Tommy John surgery in April.
