So now we're kind of going to hopefully see a big jump from that standpoint from his development."

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson said he is not worried about opponents figuring out the team's read-option offense because the team only runs 15 to 20 percent of their plays out of the formation. Wilson said he believes the formation is effective because the team likes to throw out of the formation. "Yeah, it's tough to stop," Wilson said. "I think the thing with us, and why it works so efficient for us, is we love throwing the ball out of the formation. We do a lot of things, a lot of play action, a lot of different looks."

Ngata was not on crutches at the team hotel Monday, Feb. 4, and it is not believed he suffered any ligament damage. Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens SS Bernard Pollard (ribs) said he played a majority of the season with six cracked ribs. Pollard first suffered the injury in the second game of the season, and missed the final three games of the regular season. "It's tough dealing with pain," said Pollard, who led the Ravens with 98 tackles as well as recording two sacks and a forced fumble. "For us as football players, we know we're going to go through it. At the same time, that's the name of the game. Six of them, yep. Hey, it's up to us to go out there and play and we did."


Free Safety

FS | Ed Reed | Baltimore Ravens | Free Agents
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh wants FS Ed Reed to return to the Ravens next season. Reed is scheduled to become a free agent during the summer and the tight salary cap of the Ravens may make it tough for the team to bring Reed back. "We had that conversation [Sunday night] on the bus ride away from the stadium actually," Harbaugh said. "He and I both agreed that we want him back. I want him back, and Ed wants to come back. You never know how these things are going to work out, but we are going to work like crazy to work it out because Ed's a Baltimore Raven, and hopefully we can make that happen."
