QB | Nick Foles | Philadelphia Eagles | Fantasy
Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said he likes his quarterback situation heading into 2013, with the experience of QB Michael Vick and the youth of QB Nick Foles. "You need to be built for the long haul. There is a skill set that Nick has that really excites me about him," Kelly said. "I think we've got an older quarterback in Michael who is 32 now, and have a younger guy in Nick who is going into his second year, and I think it's the ideal situation for us moving forward this season."

QB | Carson Palmer | Oakland Raiders | Transaction, Fantasy

QB | Tony Romo | Dallas Cowboys | Transaction, Fantasy
The Dallas Cowboys want a contract extension with QB Tony Romo, saying he is the key piece in moving towards a championship. "Tony is a key piece of what we're about going forward," executive vice president Stephen Jones said Tuesday. "We're certainly going to be looking at his situation (in) time. We've historically (extended contracts) with quarterbacks for the Dallas Cowboys ahead of time. We did it with Troy (Aikman) and we certainly want to look at that with Tony so we can all move forward in terms of how we want to play around our salary cap with our team. Tony is the key piece in terms of how your cap is represented."

QB | Mark Sanchez | New York Jets | Transaction
The New York Jets have not asked QB Mark Sanchez to restructure his contract.

QB | Kevin Kolb | Arizona Cardinals | Fantasy
Arizona Cardinals team president Michael Bidwell said the team is probably going to need to address QB Kevin Kolb's contract in the offseason. Kolb is scheduled to make $11 million in 2013, a number that many feel is high considering Kolb has not outright won the starting job. "Kevin's contract is probably something we're going to need to address," Bidwell said. "It's a big number and given the productivity and the questions about durability and everything, that's something that I think the reality is we need to sit down and discuss."

Running Back

RB | Ryan Williams | Arizona Cardinals | Injury, Fantasy
Arizona Cardinals RB Ryan Williams (knee, shoulder) is confident he can make his way back from a second season-ending injury in as many years in the NFL. RB | Reggie Bush | Free Agent | Free Agents, Fantasy
Cincinnati Bengals running backs coach Hue Jackson has had success in the run game before, and this is a unit in need of upgrades. The latter is a restricted free agent, so the team's interest might hinge on what type of tender the team attaches to Ivory.

Wide Receiver

WR | Percy Harvin | Minnesota Vikings | Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings WR Percy Harvin is not planning to hold out at this point, according to a team source. "As far as holding out, that's not something that I've heard he definitely will do at this point, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're throwing out threats - that's what agents do," the source said. "However, when you are under contract the team controls the situation, not the player. I hope he doesn't think a tactic like that would work if that's what he's thinking."

WR | Calvin Johnson | Detroit Lions | Fantasy
Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson did most of his damage against pass-stacked defenses this past season. With six or fewer defenders in the box, and five or more in coverage, Johnson caught 91 of his 122 passes for 1,428 of his 1,964 yards and all five of his touchdowns.

Tight End

TE | Fred Davis | Free Agent | Injury, Free Agents
Teams that are interested in signing Washington Redskins impending free-agent TE Fred Davis (Achilles') could offer him a multiyear deal despite his injury-shortened 2012 campaign, according to a league source. However, to protect themselves, teams could structure the deals they offer Davis in a way that would lessen the payout in the event of an unsuccessful return from injury.

TE | Scott Chandler | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills general manager Buddy Nix said tight end is a position of need for the team, in addition to linebacker, wide receiver and quarterback. Nix cited the uncertainty with TE Scott Chandler's (knee) status, as he recovers from surgery to his anterior cruciate ligament. "We need a young one at that position," Nix said. He added that they intend to target two or three players in free agency at TE, and that will determine where they go in the draft.

Offensive Tackle

OT | Sebastian Vollmer | Free Agent | Free Agents
Impending free-agent OT Sebastian Vollmer (Patriots) may or may not be back with the New England Patriots. It is one of many personnel decisions facing the team's management in the offseason. The market is likely to be about $5-6 million per season for the services of Vollmer, a pure right tackle.

OT | Branden Albert | Free Agent | Injury, Free Agents
There have been rumblings that the Kansas City Chiefs are concerned about the back of impending free-agent OT Branden Albert (Chiefs) (back). However, he took a full physical last week, and passed it.

And then on top of that, he's a great football player."
