Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker said QB Jake Locker is taking control of the huddle. "He's a true leader," Walker said. "He knows how to get the team pumped. He controls the huddle, and that's what you need out of a quarterback. You need a quarterback that can control the huddle and tell us where we need to get."

QB | Geno Smith | New York Jets | Depth Chart Tidbit
New York Jets QB Geno Smith would not confirm if he would participate in offseason workouts organized by QB Mark Sanchez, known as "Jets west." When asked if he would attend, Smith answered with "We'll see."

QB | Robert Griffin III | Washington Redskins | Fantasy
Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III only completed 59 percent of his passes on their down last season and averaged 5.84 yards per pass on third down. Griffin completed 66.5 percent of his passes on first down and 69.7 percent on second down.

Running Back

RB | Maurice Jones-Drew | Jacksonville Jaguars | Injury, Fantasy
Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew (foot) said he'll have no problems being ready for training camp at the end of July. "The foot feels great," he said. Despite the mileage on his legs, Jones-Drew said he still feels like his body is 23 years old.

RB | Ray Rice | Baltimore Ravens | Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens RB Ray Rice said he's fine with RB Bernard Pierce seeing a few more carries.

Fullback

FB | Vonta Leach | Free Agent | Free Agents
It would be a major upset if free-agent FB Vonta Leach (Ravens) were to sign anywhere other than the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins have too much interest in him for him to sign elsewhere.

FB | Henry Hynoski | New York Giants | Injury
New York Giants FB Henry Hynoski (knee) could begin the regular season on the Physically Unable to Perform list because of his offseason knee surgery. Hynoski would miss the first six games of the season if he starts on the PUP list.

Wide Receiver

WR | Keenan Allen | San Diego Chargers | Fantasy
San Diego Chargers WR Keenan Allen worked with the first-team offense on the final day of the team's minicamp WRs Danario Alexander and Eddie Royal dinged up with undisclosed injuries. Allen said he's comfortable with the playbook and the offense's terminology. "He's done a nice job buying into what we're doing," head coach Mike McCoy said. "It's a change for him. We're moving guys around, and the skill-position guys really need to know every position because you never know when Philip is going to check at the line of scrimmage. You have an idea where you're playing, but when it comes to a formation, Philip can audible something whenever he wants. ... You've got to know every position."

WR | LaVon Brazill | Indianapolis Colts | Depth Chart Tidbit
Indianapolis Colts WR LaVon Brazill's roster spot is in jeopardy after his four-game suspension.

WR | Cordarrelle Patterson | Minnesota Vikings | Free Agents, Fantasy
Former University of Tennessee assistant coach Charlie Baggett said he believes Minnesota Vikings WR Cordarrelle Patterson's speed and athleticism compares favorably to free-agent WR Randy Moss (49ers). "I don't want people misinterpreting me as saying Cordarrelle is better or will be better than Randy Moss," Baggett said. "When it comes to everything else that's needed to be an elite NFL receiver, he has a long way to go to reach Randy. But he definitely has that ability. He really does."

WR | Victor Cruz | New York Giants | Fantasy
New York Giants DE Justin Tuck said he hopes contract extension talks with WR Victor Cruz move faster now that Cruz has signed his tender offer. "I hope it does, Obviously everyone wants to see Victor back, he's a huge part of our success and he will be moving forward. I think he did the smart thing," Tuck said.

The Detroit Lions have released WR Brian Robiskie.

WR | Titus Young | Free Agent | Free Agents

Defensive Line

DL | Geno Atkins | Cincinnati Bengals | Free Agents
The Cincinnati Bengals may not be willing to sign DT Geno Atkins to a contract extension at this point because he could ask for around $12 million per season in his next contract. The team could place the franchise tag on Atkins when he becomes a free agent because the tender likely would be less than his asking price.

DL | Jason Pierre-Paul | New York Giants | Injury
The New York Giants likely will not sign a defensive end at this point even though DE Jason Pierre-Paul (back) is recovering from back surgery. The team will wait until they have a better idea for when Pierre-Paul will return until deciding if they need to sign another player.

DL | Mike Patterson | New York Giants | Depth Chart Tidbit
New York Giants DTs Mike Patterson, Shaun Rogers, Marvin Austin and Markus Kuhn are expected to compete for one or two roster spots during training camp.
