Pros: The University of Michigan alum hauled in 80 passes in 2007 and is the focus of the Browns' passing game, especially with the team's trade that sent away tight end Kellen Winslow. The long-striding receiver can break loose easily (15.9 yards per catch in a down year last season, 15.6 career). Cleveland's ground game is led by an aging Jamal Lewis, who doesn't offer much explosiveness - they may look more to Edwards. Any stability at the quarterback position will offer Edwards a chance to improve on his underachieving '08; hopefully new offensive coordinator and former New England Patriots receives coach Brian Daboll can instill some life into Edwards.

Cons: He'll need to eat fewer Butterfinger bars. A plethora of dropped passes help knock his receptions total down to 55. Did he artificially benefit from Derek Anderson's amazing 2007 passing year? His 16 touchdowns from that campaign dwarfed the three he mustered last year. Third-year quarterback Brady Quinn will battle Anderson for the starting job, and if the weak-armed Quinn grabs the reins, a more conservative offense will probably be employed, tempering that proposed improvement a stable starter would offer Edwards.

Fantasy tip: On-again, off-again trade rumors may throw this analysis out the window, but you should keep him in the No. 2 wideout wheelhouse. Most drafters are siding with upside by taking Edwards in the fourth round on average; it's unwise to project Edwards to revisit his fluky 2007 season, but he should meet in the middle of that year and 2008, in all likelihood.
