No. 41 All Sport ToyotaOwner: Jeremy Mayfield, Gary Smith 2009 fantasy outlook: Mayfield competed in only eight points races last year with Haas CNC Racing before a mutual parting that led to Mayfield sitting out the rest of the season. He returns this year under his own namesake, Mayfield Motorsports, driving the No. 41 All Sport Toyota. No testing should hurt Mayfield early on, but it was a large reason why he was able to gain ownership rights. The veteran racer hasn't run a full schedule since 2005 (finished ninth) and owns a career-best finish of seventh place in 1998. Mayfield is a risky option as a No. 3 driver, but he has shown the ability to produce, so he could finish as high as a low-end No. 2 when all is said and done. About Cory J. Bonini
