Tulloch started the team's Week 4 game and Fowler started the first three games. Fisher said Tulloch's start was situational, but Fowler suspected last week that the move was permanent.
-- DL Albert Haynesworth has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Month for September. He recorded five sacks in the month.
-- The Tennessee Titans defense is looking for more plays, particularly more sacks and interceptions. The Titans do lead the NFL in turnovers with 12 and in points allowed per game through their 4-0 start. "More sacks, more interceptions," LB Keith Bulluck said. "We need to score more, you know what I mean? This weekend would be great. We know we're going to have to make a play to change the course of the game. We need to continue to do things like that. It gets contagious." Head coach Jeff Fisher added, "We're efficient, productive. We get the ball back right now. I don't think we've played nearly as well as we're capable of playing."

-- CB Charles Woodson has been named the NFC Defensive Player of the Month for September. Woodson had three interceptions in the month and returned two of those interceptions for touchdowns.
-- The Green Bay Packers are averaging 93.5 rushing yards per contest, ranking 23rd in the NFL. The team has also averaged just 3.9 yards per carry on the ground. "We have to block better up front," OT Mark Tauscher said. "I think it's a unit thing, it's not just one guy. Everybody up front needs to play better. Everybody involved, running backs, tight ends, offensive line has to execute better."
-- QB Brian Brohm received "limited reps" with the starters in practice Thursday, Oct. 2.
-- DL Justin Harrell (back) is making progress from his back surgery five months ago and is 80 to 85 percent of the way toward his peak physical condition, according to strength and conditioning coach Rock Gullickson. Harrell has been receiving one-on-one training with Gullickson four times a week. If he returns, Harrell likely would have a significant role with the team.
-- SS Charlie Peprah will start at strong safety in the team's Week 5 game.
-- QB Matt Flynn said he was not tentative during Week 4 when he played seven fourth-quarter snaps. He failed to generate a first down and threw two poor passes. "It was just the first time in there. That was a tough situation to be in," Flynn said. He noted if he has to play during Week 5 that he needs to be sharp and play "the best game I've ever played."

-- RB T.J. Duckett will still have a role with the team despite RB Maurice Morris' (knee) expected return this week. Duckett's role could be as the short-yardage and goal line back.
-- The Seattle Seahawks are only 2-7 coming off a bye week under head coach Mike Holmgren.
-- General manager Tim Ruskell said the team will try to keep a similar system under head coach Jim Mora next year.

The New York Giants have signed practice squad WR Taye Biddle to their active roster. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
-- Police have responded to two domestic disturbance calls at New York Giants WR Plaxico Burress' house the past few months. Reports show Burress' wife, Tiffany, had phoned police in both instances. Temporary restraining orders were obtained in each but were later dismissed in court. Tiffany Burress called police June 2 and Aug. 19.
-- WR Domenik Hixon will replace WR Plaxico Burress at split end Week 5.
-- WR Plaxico Burress has been fined between 40 and 50 times during his time with the team. One source said, "He's been fined for missing treatment, meetings, showing up late, there's probably been 10 times this year alone." Several team sources said Burress didn't seem overly affected by getting fined, but was bothered by getting suspended for the team's Week 5 game.
-- The New York Giants could dress two kickers in Week 5. The Giants want to make sure PK Lawrence Tynes is healthy before releasing PK John Carney.
-- RB Danny Ware was arrested Sunday, Sept. 28, on alcohol-related charges. He was charged with pedestrian under the influence and pedestrian in the roadway and was released on a $500 bond.
-- The New York Giants are 4-15 after bye weeks and 1-3 after bye weeks under head coach Tom Coughlin.
-- The New York Giants have reached an agreement with WR Plaxico Burress to cut the financial penalty levied against him in half. Burress' suspension for Week 5 will stand. He will be docked $117,000, his weekly pay, for the game. Burress was originally penalized $235,294 for two weeks.

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS vs. HOUSTON TEXANS

OT Richard Collier (spine, leg) is paralyzed below the waist and had to have one of his legs amputated. Doctors say Collier had 14 bullet wounds but is now in stable condition.
-- PK Josh Scobee had hit 10 consecutive field goals after misfiring from 37-yards during Week 1. Scobee had had game-winning field goals in each of the past two games.
-- QB David Garrard averaged a quarterback rating of 102.2 for the entire season in 2007 but didn't hit the 100-mark passer rating until Week 4 this season, when he recorded a 103.1 passer rating. He also recorded his fourth successive game with a completion percentage of 60 percent or higher.
-- WR Matt Jones became the first Jacksonville receiver since Jimmy Smith in 2001 to have five-plus receptions during each of the first four games of the season.
