"I wouldn't say he threw any differently," Smith said. Delhomme said his surgically repaired elbow felt great but mentally he was possibly a little rusty. According to Delhomme, the Tommy John surgery he had was beneficial. He noted the rehab routine has strengthened up everything in his arms, fingers and shoulders.

Mike Klis, of The Denver Post, reports Denver Broncos QB Jay Cutler, who has Type 1 diabetes, now knows what he has and how to treat it. WR Brandon Stokley said he has noticed a difference in Cutler this year as opposed to last season. "He's just a different person. More energy," Stokley said of his quarterback. Cutler has been playing with an insulin pump attached to his abdominal area during the team's passing camp. He will not wear the device on game days. During games, the team's medical staff will have energy bars on the sideline, extra insulin and sugar tablets. They also may even have a Glucagon shot, which is needed when a diabetic passes out.

The idea is to protect the Cowboys in case Glenn suffers any further issues with his surgically repaired right knee. If he suffers an injury without the waiver, the Cowboys would be responsible for his $1.74 million salary. Glenn has declined to sign the waiver, which has kept him out of OTAs the last two weeks. "I should have seen this coming," Glenn, who missed 15 games in 2007, said. Glenn's knee has not given him any problems during the offseason. Team owner/general manager Jerry Jones has given mixed answers about Glenn previously, noting one time he didn't need to be there due to experience. Wednesday, May 28, he said the OTAs are voluntary.
