So we want to get him stronger in a couple different areas." Robertson recently underwent wrist surgery and has played his entire career with a knee problem.

Jerry McDonald, of ANG Newspapers, reports free-agent FS Stuart Schweigert (Raiders) was critical of his former team, the Oakland Raiders, after he was released by the team earlier this week. In an interview with the Saginaw News, Schweigert said of Oakland, "In all my years in football, I've never been around a more negative atmosphere. Nobody had my back, even when in the years before I had their backs 100 percent." He also criticized the team's defensive philosophy of often putting eight men in the box and utilizing man coverage on receivers. "Some teams will use the cover-0 as a gimmick defense on rare occasions, maybe to blitz. But nobody uses at as their standard defense like the Raiders do," Schweigert said.
