Driver Boris Said is set to return behind the wheel of the No. 60 car for the third consecutive year since the company's inception in 2006. The No. 60 car finished five races last season and has set a goal in stone to participate in five Cup races in 2008, as well as three in the Nationwide Series. The team will look to regain the form it had in 2006, when they picked up a pole win at Daytona International Speedway and finished with one top five and two top-10 finishes in four races.

Stoddard, who is co-owner of the No. 60 car, returns for his third season as Said's crew chief. He is thought to be one of the best crew chiefs in the Sprint Cup Series after several successful years working with Jeff Burton and Roush Fenway Racing.

Equipment and Resources

Sponsorship continues to be the main issue for No Fear Racing. They are set to run another limited NASCAR Sprint Cup schedule in 2008 while they search for a fulltime sponsor. The team would like to get the opportunity to get into more races, but the lack of sponsorship is currently limiting them to five in the sport's top circuit. Said continues to talk to other potential sponsors and pursuing other possibilities, though.

No Fear bought cars from Roush Racing and received its engines from the partnership of Roush and Robert Yates Racing in 2006. The No. 60 car will continue to use their equipment in 2008. Roush and Said, who's an off-road specialist, worked out an agreement in exchange for their equipment and technical support; Said agreed to work with the young drivers of Roush Racing on their road-racing skills.
