Do Not Bench List - All Positions

  • Quarterback Brett Favre, Green Bay Packers: Even when he was winning three Most Valuable Player awards, Favre was known as a quarterback that struggled in domes. Well, that doesn't seem to be the case anymore as Favre completed more than 75 percent of his passes (including 20 in a row) for 381 yards and three touchdowns against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day. This week, he travels to another venue he has historically struggled in, Texas Stadium, where he boasts a 0-8 career mark. Those were different teams, and Favre is a different quarterback. He is a weak play this Thursday, but he needs to remain in your lineup.
  • Wide Receiver Greg Jennings, Green Bay Packers: Jennings continues to be a touchdown machine for the Packers, scoring two more in Week 12 to give him nine on the season and five in his last four games. Jennings' ability to reach the end zone has been remarkable this season as he has scored in seven of his nine games in 2007. He's a weak play against the Dallas Cowboys this week, but he remains a No. 1 fantasy receiver.

Grant - The Packers have to be thankful for the emergence of Grant over the past five weeks as the first-year back rushed for more than 100 yards for the third time with 101 yards on 15 carries on Thanksgiving. He finished the day with 132 total yards and a touchdown; his development has led to non-roles for running backs Brandon Jackson and Vernand Morency. Grant appears to have a tough matchup this week against a Dallas team surrendering just 66.5 rushing yards per game to opposing backs in the last month, which makes him a weak play as a No. 1 or No. 2 back.

Driver - Driver had one of his best games of the season against the Lions, catching 10 passes for 147 yards. His touchdown draught has reached eight games, but he is clearly a bigger force in the offense lately after some truly forgettable performances in Weeks 5-8. This week he can be played as a steady No. 2 receiver with a weak play against Dallas.

Jones - The rookie finished second on the team in receiving yards (75) last Thursday but did basically all of his work between the 20s. He has been a reliable receiver this year with at least three receptions in 10 of 11 games this season. However, he hasn't had a truly big game since going off for 107 yards and a touchdown in Week 8. Play him as a low-end No. 3 or injury replacement with a weak play this Thursday night.

Lee - With just one catch for 10 yards, Lee had by far his least productive day of the season. Brighter days could be just around the corner, though, as Dallas has allowed more receptions (6.75) and yards (78) per game to opposing tight ends over the past month than anyone. That means Lee should be kept active as a solid No. 1 tight end with a strong play.

Crosby - The NFL's highest scoring kicker over the last month (45 points), Crosby has reached double figures in three of his last four games, including a 13-point outing in Week 12. In what could be a high-scoring affair against the Cowboys, Crosby is a high-end No. 1 kicker this week.

Packers - Green Bay's defense has given up 43 points combined over the past two weeks, which isn't great. However, they allowed just 12 points in the first half of those games and yielded a lot of garbage-time production, although it almost cost them against Detroit. Nonetheless, they continue to do a good job of pressuring the quarterback, as well as making big plays on both defense and special teams. However, the injuries have begun to mount, and they square off against the best offense they've seen all year in Week 13. Keep them benched for this NFC showdown.
