Do Not Bench List - All Positions

  • Quarterback Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys: Romo played as well as expected in the Cowboys 34-3 rout of the New York Jets, even with an injured pinkie. His finger is expected to be completely fine for this week's game, but it won't be nearly as easy for Romo, as the Cowboys host the Green Bay Packers in a matchup of 10-1 teams. Packers cornerbacks Charles Woodson (toe) and Al Harris lead one of the NFL's better pass defenses, so consider Romo a weak play as a strong No. 1 option this week.
  • Wide Receiver Terrell Owens, Dallas Cowboys: Although Owens' streak of four consecutive 100-yard receiving games came to an end against the Jets last Thursday, a more important streak is still alive. Owens caught six passes for 65 yards and a touchdown, his sixth straight game with at least one touchdown. He is a No. 1 fantasy receiver, but he has a tough job ahead of him against the Packers defense. He is a weak play this week, but he certainly should stay in your starting lineup.
  • Tight End Jason Witten, Dallas Cowboys: Witten has remained a pretty active part of the Cowboys offense, recording yet another touchdown against the Jets in Week 12. He is now averaging 4.25 receptions, 52.5 yards and 0.50 touchdown receptions per game. These are very respectable stats for a tight end, which is why Witten is a strong No. 1 option this week, and with the possibility of other Cowboys receivers struggling, Romo may look for Witten more often in Week 13.

Barber III - Barber's season-high 103 rushing yards was key in leading the Cowboys over the Jets. It was his first 100-yard rushing game since Week 3, and his seven-yard touchdown run was his second in four games. The Cowboys were able to rush the ball more often because they were never trailing against the Jets, but they may not get the same opportunities against the Packers in Week 13. His effectiveness in the red zone, however, is essential to the Cowboys' success this week, and they will look to him to get the rushing game going against the Packers. Barber is a No. 1 or 2 fantasy option and a strong play against the Packers.

Jones - Against the Jets, Jones rushed for 64 yards on 14 carries to go along with four receptions for 26 yards. The 64 yards was the most Jones has rushed for since Week 1, the 14 carries were the most he has had since Week 2, and the four receptions tied a season-high for him. Jones and Barber continue to split carries, but Barber is far more active in the red zone. Both Jones and Barber will be used often this week to establish the running game against the Packers, so Jones is a strong play as a No. 3 option.

Crayton - Crayton (ankle) did not play against the Jets last Thursday, but he has practiced a bit this week, and it looks like he will play. He is certainly not 100 percent, though, and against the Packers' outstanding cornerbacks, he likely will struggle to get any yards at all. Check back with KFFL to be sure he's playing if you're desperate to start him, but you'd be better off looking for someone else to start for this week.

Folk - As the Cowboys take on the Packers this week, they can be sure of one thing; they're playing a much better team than the Jets. The Packers are allowing only 5.2 points per game over the last four weeks to opposing kickers, and that's bad news for Folk. He is a decent No. 1 or bench option and a weak play against the Packers.

Cowboys - Even though they just gave up only three points in a game, the Cowboys defense should be worried. They welcome a Packers team that is averaging 30.8 points per game over the last four weeks, and they are playing against one of the best quarterbacks this year in Brett Favre. That being said, the Cowboys are a weak play and should certainly be on your bench this week.
