: Edward Lee, of the Baltimore Sun, reports the Baltimore Ravens may place OT Jonathan Ogden (foot, toe) on Injured Reserve if he is not able to play after the teamís bye week. ďYou've asked me many times, am I worried about this being it for J.O. in terms of him not coming back this season. And I, watching him work, keep holding off that idea that it looks like he might be ready to go. But if not by then [Week 8], then yeah, it's a very legitimate question," head coach Brian Billick said.

Doctors in Houston, where Everett's rehab has been ongoing since mid-September, are optimistic that once Everett completes his rehab he will regain his ability to walk independently.

: Adam Teicher, of the Kansas City Star, reports Kansas City Chiefs RB Priest Holmes (neck) is eligible to return to practice this week. Head coach Herman Edwards, however, does not know at this point when Holmes will see action. "I donít know. Iíd like to see him practice first. Iíll be able to answer that Wednesday after practice or Thursday," Edwards said. Holmes has been on the team's non-football injury list since the start of the season. Under NFL rules, Holmes was ineligible to practice or play until the Chiefs had finished their sixth game.
