New York Giants Current Updates Offense --QB Jared Lorenzen: Brendan Prunty, of the Star-Ledger, reports New York Giants QB Jared Lorenzen (ankle) said he is optimistic that he will practice this week after spraining his ankle in the team’s Week 2 game. --RB Brandon Jacobs: Ralph Vacchiano, of the New York Daily News, reports New York Giants RB Brandon Jacobs (knee) is not expected to practice this week, but did not rule out the possibility of trying to practice. "If I feel better, I'll try. Defense --CB Justin Miller: ESPN.com reports New York Jets CB Justin Miller (knee) will miss the rest of the season with ligament damage in his right knee, according to the Star Ledger and The New York Daily News. Philadelphia Eagles Current Updates Offense --RB Brian Westbrook: Philadelphia Eagles RB Brian Westbrook (knee) continued to play after sustaining a knee sprain in Week 2. Head coach Andy Reid believes Westbrook should be ready to play Week 3. --OT William Thomas: Philadelphia Eagles OT William Thomas (back) should be ready to play Week 3 after suffering from back spasms in Week 2.
