ESPN.com reports Atlanta Falcons QB Michael Vick will "more than likely" face state charges in addition to his federal charges, according to Surry County Commmonwealth's Attorney Gerald Poindexter. Poindexter does not know what Vick may be charged with and a state indictment could be several months down the road.

Adam Caplan, reporting for Scout.com, reports the Minnesota Vikings have signed fifth-round draft choice WR Aundrae Allison to a four-year deal. Allison will earn base salaries of $285,000 in 2007, $370,000 in 2008, $460,000 in 2009 and $550,000 in 2010.

The Associated Press reports Miami Dolphins WR Chris Chambers did not attend his court hearing Monday, July 16. The case has been delayed until Aug. 15.

Mac Engel, of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, reports Dallas Cowboys LB Greg Ellis (Achilles') has not yet been cleared to play by team doctors. Ellis, who is hoping to have his contract restructured by the team, will report to camp when cleared by doctors, according to his agent. "Once he gets back from vacation, we'll see," agent James D. Williams said. "If the doctors clear him and he doesn't have any pain, he'll be where he's supposed to be (in training camp). He's under contract."

Darius will earn base salaries of $1.6 million in 2007, $2.5 million in 2008 and $3 million in 2009.
