The deal is worth $2.103 million and includes a signing bonus of $438,305. He will earn base salaries of $285,000 (2007), $370,000 (2008), $460,000 (2009) and $550,000 (2010). Defensive Line

DL | Tank Johnson | Free Agent Players | Free Agency News
Randy Galloway, of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, reports the Dallas Cowboys have little interest in unrestricted free-agent DT Tank Johnson (Bears). "Any interest would be pretty minimal right now. There were a lot of issues coming out of college with this guy, and now it's been compounded by what went on with the Bears. I don't think we'd be interested at all," said Cowboys' director of scouting Jeff Ireland.

DL | Justin Harrell | Green Bay Packers | Injury News
Tom Pelissero, of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, reports Green Bay Packers DT Justin Harrell (biceps) might not be at full strength when training camp opens July 28. There is also a chance he will not be at full strength at any point during the 2007 season. The muscle recovery is gradual. "(It takes) a year to even a year-and-a-half before muscles will feel fully recovered, and (sustained strength) is one of the last things to come back. Even when someone is in the weight room and says, 'This feels 100 percent,' they'll notice it fatigues faster," said Dr. Randall Mohler, a surgeon who specializes in sports medicine at the California Orthopaedic Institute.

Katherine Smith, of the Tampa Tribune, reports unrestricted free-agent LB Shelton Quarles (Buccaneers) said he has received some inquiries from other teams but he feels they are too far away from his home. Quarles will decide in a few weeks if he wants to retire.

It has also been confirmed by Carl Poston, Arrington's agent, that Arrington also suffered a broken wrist in the accident. Some reports have indicated Arrington has an infection from cuts he suffered as well as a torn tendon and carpal tunnel-like symptoms in his wrist. Poston and Arrington's attorney, Rosalyn Pugh, deny the infection and the other wrist injuries.
