Quarterback

Jason Wilde, of the Wisconsin State Journal, reports Green Bay Packers QB Brett Favre's arm is doing fine, according to quarterbacks coach Tom Clements. Favre hadn't thrown a pass since the end of last season and appeared to have considerably less velocity while throwing Saturday, May 19. Clements noted Favre may have had a little tightness but noted there was not any soreness.

John Clayton, of PhiladelphiaEagles.com, reports Philadelphia Eagles QB Donovan McNabb (knee) said he has recently started running and cutting on his injured left knee. He has also been throwing once a week. He said he has experienced no setbacks since his surgery. He has been rehabbing his knee four times a week, and still participates in general conditioning workouts five days a week. "It's really similar to my workouts in Arizona, just not as extensive," McNabb added. He could be cleared to resume working out with the team for their June minicamp, but he was noncommittal about when he would be ready to practice with the team.

MiamiDolphins.com reports Miami Dolphins QB Daunte Culpepper (knee) worked on some things during the Dolphins' organized coaching sessions. "I just want to get my feet wet as far as throwing to some of the guys and working on some of the footwork with the backs. I feel good. There's no real pain, which is a good sign," Culpepper said.

Nicholas Cotsonika, of the Detroit Free Press, reports Detroit Lions RB Kevin Jones (foot) said two pins were taken out of his left foot that he had surgery on, but one still remains. Jones said the remaining pin will not affect him flexing his foot and he believes he will be ready for training camp.

Jim Wyatt, of the Tennessean, reports Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher said he is hopeful RB LenDale White (hamstring) will return to practice next week.

WR | Robert Ferguson | Green Bay Packers | Injury News
Mike Spofford, of Packers.com, reports Green Bay Packers WR Robert Ferguson (foot) was held out of all the team's practices over the weekend. He spent most of his time doing individual conditioning drills on the sidelines during the practices. The morning of Sunday, May 20, Ferguson was able to do some of the individual wide receiver drills for a few moments when he ran some end zone routes and caught a handful of passes. Ferguson is hoping to be cleared medically by the start of OTAs in June.


Tight End

Jason Wilde, of the Wisconsin State Journal, reports Green Bay Packers TE Bubba Franks is no longer the team's No. 1 tight end. Franks has started 98 of 112 games he's played in but has been sharing snaps with the first-string offense. Offensive coordinator Joe Philbin has said the starting job is an open competition. Philbin said Franks has been working hard and he's sure Franks will battle for the starting job. Tight ends coach Ben McAdoo noted Franks needs to improve his concentration, ball security, pass-blocking assignments and backside cut-blocks in run blocking. He noted all of those items are fixable. Franks believes he has fixed the most important thing - his attitude, as he's being more of a team player this year.
