Quarterback

QB | Trent Green | Kansas City Chiefs | Injury News
Adam Teicher, of the Kansas City Star, reports Kansas City Chiefs president and general manager Carl Peterson and Miami Dolphins general manager Randy Mueller resumed trade talks over the weekend regarding QB Trent Green. Green, who wants to play for the Dolphins, has agreed to terms on a contract with the team. The remaining obstacle, however, is the terms of the trade. "Now we need to work toward something that's fair. We'll talk again this week. Whether it gets done before the draft or not, I can't say. It may happen this week, or it may not happen until after the draft," Peterson said.

QB | Daunte Culpepper | Miami Dolphins | Injury News
Armando Salguero, of the Miami Herald, reports in addition to not being ready for minicamp, Miami Dolphins QB Daunte Culpepper (knee) will not guarantee he will be ready to compete by the time the team opens training camp in late July.

Running Back

RB | Corey Dillon | Free Agent Players | Free Agency News
Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports free-agent RB Corey Dillon (Patriots) will retire.

RB | Michael Turner | San Diego Chargers | Transaction, Free Agency News
Jim Wyatt, of the Tennessean, reports the agent for San Diego Chargers restricted free-agent RB Michael Turner, Bus Cook, says he is not sure the running back will be traded. "As of right now, it looks like Michael is going to be in San Diego," Cook said. "Things could change, and it could happen on draft day, too."

RB | Ryan Moats | Philadelphia Eagles | Draft Information
John Murphy, of Yahoo! Sports, reports the Philadelphia Eagles are actively shopping RB Ryan Moats, according to a well-placed league source. The team will likely draft a bigger running back to use in the backup role, making Moats less likely to earn a spot on the active roster unless it would be for special teams purposes. A second source claims more than one team has already been contacted to gauge their initial interest, but the initial league source indicated the Eagles would likely receive a mid-round draft pick in the 2007 NFL Draft in exchange for Moats.

RB | Vernand Morency | Green Bay Packers | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
John McClain, of the Houston Chronicle, reports the Green Bay Packers will have RB Vernand Morency as their starter and RB Noah Herron as the backup.

RB | Edgerrin James | Arizona Cardinals | Injury News, Fantasy
Darren Urban, of the East Valley Tribune, reports Arizona Cardinals RB Edgerrin James (knee) completed the team's first practice of the offseason without any problems. James underwent recent minor right knee surgery, which took away some of the swelling that bothered him in 2006.

Wide Receiver

WR | Anquan Boldin | Arizona Cardinals | Fantasy
Kent Somers, of The Arizona Republic, reports Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt plans to use WR Anquan Boldin in similar ways to Pittsburgh Steelers WR Hines Ward. Boldin has been moved from the "X" receiver to "Z" receiver, where he played in his rookie season. The team will move him around the formation, but he will line up in the slot more than he did last season. Boldin would like to be used in the running game a bit more as well. "I don't have to throw the ball, just put me in the backfield a couple of times and let me run it, I'll be OK," Boldin said.

Linebacker

LB | Keith Brooking | Atlanta Falcons | Depth Chart Tidbit
Steve Wyche, of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, reports Atlanta Falcons LB Keith Brooking said the Falcons' coaching staff has informed him that he will most likely be the team's starting middle linebacker next season.

Free Safety

FS | Mike Doss | Minnesota Vikings | Injury News
During an ESPNews interview, Minnesota Vikings S Mike Doss (knee) said he is feeling 100 percent and will be ready for OTAs and minicamps. He said he is not being limited and is able to go through all current workouts.
