"Patrick and I had a good talk," Gibbs said. "Both of us felt like, 'Hey, the season is just over with, and we haven't had much chance to sit and think about [Ramsey's future].' So what we agreed to do is just continue to talk over these next few weeks. He'll just do some thinking and I'll do some thinking." Talking with reporters Monday, Ramsey also indicated he is uncertain about his future in Washington. Ramsey is under contract with the Redskins for the 2006 season.

QB | Brad Johnson | Minnesota Vikings | Fantasy

Jean-Jacque Taylor, writing for the Sporting News, reports the Dallas Cowboys are looking for RB Julius Jones to spend the offseason making his lower body significantly stronger to allow him to stay healthy and break more tackles. The Cowboys view the upcoming season as huge for Jones. The team needs to figure out whether Jones is going to be healthy enough to be a frontline starter or if he will only be able to be the type of running back that has to always share action in the backfield.

RB | Thomas Jones | Chicago Bears | Fantasy
Chris De Luca, of the Chicago Sun-Times reports the Chicago Bears' running game could go in a different direction in 2006. Bears RB Cedric Benson might have the edge over RB Thomas Jones, who finished with 80 rushing yards on 20 carries in the NFC Divisional Playoff game Sunday, Jan. 15, against the Carolina Panthers. "I really don't know," Benson said about next year. "I can't look too far into the future and make decisions on things I can't control. What I can control is my actions and my preparation going into next season. I just know for a face that when my name is called, when my number is called, you're going to see some plays made."

Those offers have been turned down by Seymour, who may be looking to receive defensive end money. His 2006 compensation has grown to over $5 million due to escalators in his contract.
