Alejandro De Aza, OF, Chicago White Sox

OF Alejandro De Aza, Chicago White Sox

The way the lefty has been raking lately, he's probably going to claim PT to himself for a bit. Fun fact: For his career BA is .274 against both RHP and LHP.

RP Matt Lindstrom, Chicago White Sox

Nate Jones' strained hip rubs salt in his performance wound. Lindstrom looks good to go for SVO in the near future.

1B Justin Smoak, Seattle Mariners

Robinson Cano's presence in a lineup will help whoever's behind him, most of the time. Smoak finally may be cashing in on some of that post-hype cred.

SP Jesse Chavez, Oakland Athletics

His cutter has augmented his diverse arsenal since last year. The A's know how to cultivate pitching success stories.

2B/3B/OF Kelly Johnson, New York Yankees

Too soon to ditch everywhere, but if Yangervis Solarte builds on his successful MLB debut, Johnson may be more convincingly reduced to match-up duty.

OF Andre Ethier, Los Angeles Dodgers

Though the Blue will ease Matt Kemp along in his return, Ethier will lose playing time, therefore stripping him of plenty of mixed value.
