KFFL's Fantasy Baseball Analysis Draft (BAD) and League is unlike most expert leagues. Whether you're a rookie or a savvy vet, you can pick up something to add to your rotisserie baseball strategy.

1) RP J.J. Putz, Arizona Diamondbacks

Paul Sporer and Mike Gianella, Baseball Prospectus | Roster

Addison Reed seems like the logical pick to close in Arizona, but Kirk Gibson is making noise about the job being wide open. As a 27th-round flyer, why not?

2) RP Arodys Vizcaino, Chicago Cubs

Josh Shepardson, The Fantasy Fix | Roster

Miami Marlins 1B/OF Garrett Jones
Even (new) Marlins can be valuable

Vizcaino hasn't thrown a pitch in a game that counts since 2011. However, his stuff is reportedly sharp, and Jose Veras isn't the long-term, ninth-inning answer for the Cubs, but Vizcaino might be.

3) C Derek Norris, Oakland Athletics

Ray Flowers, Baseball Guys | Roster

Ryan Doumit, Geovany Soto, J.P. Arencibia ... rough going when you wait a long time for that second catcher. Hopefully, John Jaso is the full-time DH for the A's, leaving lots of at-bats for Norris.

4) OF L.J. Hoes, Houston Astros

Pasko Varnica, Mastersball | Roster

Hoes has a full-time right field job in Houston. No upside, but if my team will ever need him, he will fill in nicely with a few extra steals and a respectable batting average.

5) 1B/OF Garrett Jones, Miami Marlins

Michael Stein, Fantasy Judgment | Roster

Jones should see a good amount of playing time against right-handers in Miami's weak lineup. If he gets 400 at-bats, he should be good for 15-20 home runs and also provides some positional flexibility.

6) RP Pedro Strop, Chicago Cubs

Drew Silva, Rotoworld | Roster

Strop looks to be next in line for saves in the Cubs' bullpen. He has control issues, but I've always liked his arsenal, and it's feasible that current Cubs closer Jose Veras could run into some early hiccups.

7) OF Jackie Bradley Jr., Boston Red Sox

Tim Heaney, KFFL | Roster

He's in a competition with Grady Sizemore, who'll probably get hurt as you're reading this. Bradley won't hit for a prime BA anytime soon, but his power-speed mix should at least deliver OF5 numbers when needed.
