KFFL's Fantasy Baseball Analysis Draft (BAD) and League is unlike most expert fantasy games. First, this isn't a mock draft. At end of the 2014 season, we'll crown a champion of this rotisserie baseball league. Second, our 15-team, 28-round fantasy baseball draft doesn't come with post-game summaries. It provides you with each participant's mindset at the time he selected.

1) OF Will Venable, San Diego Padres

Paul Sporer and Mike Gianella, Baseball Prospectus | Roster

Not the best pick in terms of positional needs, but impossible to resist the last 20-20 hitter on the board. He's being undervalued in every format.

2) SP A.J. Burnett, Philadelphia Phillies

Josh Shepardson, The Fantasy Fix | Roster

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim OF Kole Calhoun

Trading PNC Park for Citizens Bank Park isn't an ideal swap for a pitcher, but Burnett's ability to miss bats at a high rate (9.85 K/9 in 2013) and keep the ball on the ground bode well for a smooth transition.

3) RP Jim Henderson, Milwaukee Brewers

Ray Flowers, Baseball Guys | Roster

Time to grab my first closer with the pickins getting slim. The hope is that I'll be able to fill my first base slot and grab another hurler in Rounds 14 and 15.

4) OF Avisail Garcia, Chicago White Sox

Pasko Varnica, Mastersball | Roster

Garcia has the potential to surprise. High average is a given. His projected HR and SB are in the teens, but the ceiling is unknown; it could be much higher.

5) OF Michael Bourn, Cleveland Indians

Michael Stein, Fantasy Judgment | Roster

One glaring thing that my team lacked was speed. I am not a big Bourn fan, but he does steal bases, and I think he will have a much better season in Cleveland than he did in 2013.

6) SP R.A. Dickey, Toronto Blue Jays

Drew Silva, Rotoworld | Roster

I wanted to focus back on my rotation after ignoring it for three straight rounds. Dickey looked like the best available option. His ERA should be better than it was in 2013, and the Blue Jays should win a few more games.

7) OF B.J. Upton, Atlanta Braves

Tim Heaney, KFFL | Roster

Time to take one of My Guys. Fixing Upton's swing will restore his 20-20 foundation. Not counting on it, but if his BA gets to .240, he'll be an even bigger steal at Pick 187.
