Benoit stays put

Assessing all the fantasy baseball closers....

The trade deadline was surprisingly quiet in the bullpen front -- no Jonathan Papelbon or Joaquin Benoit left their respective towns -- but many teams probably will try pushing some of their relievers through waivers and initiating trades sometime in August.

It's still a good idea to speculate on the likes of the Philadelphia Phillies' Ken Giles, the San Diego Padres' Dale Thayer and more Understudies listed below, but we'll have to wait a bit longer for a market to develop.
