When debating on picking up a player, do not let age discourage you. Seasoned veterans know the ins and outs of the game. There are still many productive players in the league who were drafted in the mid-1990s.

If that veteran is getting playing time and helping you minimally in multiple or scarce categories, pick him up. If you are getting 10-12 productive minutes from that veteran, you are benefitting. Respect your elders!
