Running backs

Week 12 utilizations
Rk Player Tm Wk12 Notes
1 Knowshon Moreno DEN 38 Bone bruise in ankle could mean Montee Ball show
2 Adrian Peterson MIN 33 Groin injury not an issue
3 Eddie Lacy GB 31 Will asthma struggles mean fewer totes?
4 Le'Veon Bell PIT 28 Thankfully, he gets 20-plus touches.
5 Chris Johnson TEN 25 Stats were mediocre, but he's running harder.
6 Andre Brown NYG 25 Entrenched as bell cow
7 Matt Forte CHI 25 Will tweaked knee force CHI to trust Michael Bush? Yikes.
8 Reggie Bush DET 22 Joique Bell injury probably contributed to Bush's carry load.
9 Shane Vereen NE 21 As noted above, in position to take command.
10 Rashad Jennings OAK 21 Could push Darren McFadden (hamstring) to change-up duty even after Week 13
11 Jamaal Charles KC 20 JC saves.
12 Maurice Jones-Drew JAX 20 TD and 4-plus catches in each of last 3 weeks
13 Steven Jackson ATL 20 Looking healthier, pulling away from Jacquizz Rodgers

WW: If Zac Stacy (concussion) can't pass league tests to suit up this weekend, Benny Cunningham will carry the load for the St. Louis Rams. Isaiah Pead poses no threat for every-down work.

WW: The Houston Texans planned on involving Dennis Johnson a little more this past weekend, though Gary Kubiak insists Ben Tate (ribs) remains the starting back. Johnson, however, looks more effective for the immediate future and typically runs with a bit more giddy-up. That'll go a long way in helping Houston move the ball.

WW: Surprise! Chris Ivory (ankle) is hurt again. We'll know his status Wednesday, but Bilal Powell would shoulder the New York Jets' carry load and must be near the top of your pickup list.
