Quarterback

QB | Jake Locker | Tennessee Titans | Injury, Transaction, Fantasy
The Tennessee Titans placed QB Jake Locker (foot) on the season-ending Injured Reserve Tuesday, Nov. 12, and elevated WR Devon Wylie from the practice squad to the active roster in a corresponding move.

QB | Michael Vick | Philadelphia Eagles | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick said he does not want to be a distraction to his team, and is just worried about getting healthy at this point. Vick said he does not know if he is the starting quarterback at this point.

QB | Terrelle Pryor | Oakland Raiders | Injury, Fantasy
Oakland Raiders head coach Dennis Allen said he's concerned with QB Terrelle Pryor's (knee) sprained knee after he looked tentative in the pocket in the team's Week 10 loss to the New York Giants. Allen and the coaching staff realize that the injury is more of a concern than initially believed. Pryor was 11-for-26 for 122 yards and an interception against the Giants. "It was obvious that there wasn't that explosiveness that we had seen out of him prior to the injury," Allen said. "I'll sit down and visit with Terrelle a little bit more and find out exactly where he is physically." Allen said he never considered removing Pryor from the game, however.

Pryor is an extremely dynamic quarterback, but only when he's able to scramble and create plays with his legs. He hasn't been able to do that now that he's hobbled, which limits his fantasy upside big time. Until we see assurance that he's close to 100 percent, it wouldn't be wise to start him.

QB | Ryan Fitzpatrick | Tennessee Titans | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak said Monday, Nov. 11, he is hopeful the players will rally around QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, who will take over as the starting quarterback again with QB Jake Locker (foot) done for the season. QB Rusty Smith will serve as the backup, although Munchak did not rule out signing another quarterback.

QB | Matt Flynn | Green Bay Packers | Transaction, Free Agents, Fantasy
The Green Bay Packers worked out free-agent QB Matt Flynn (Bills) Monday, Nov. 11, and will sign him.

Apparently Flynn's elbow checked out satisfactorily. It appears Scott Tolzien will still start in Week 11 for the Packers, but Flynn could very well see time as a starter at some point since he already knows the offense. Still, fantasy owners shouldn't expect too much. Remember, this guy was beaten out for the starting gig in Seattle and Oakland, and was cut in Buffalo.

Running Back

RB | Arian Foster | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
The Houston Texans placed RB Arian Foster (back) on Injured Reserve Tuesday, Nov. 12.

RB | Mike James | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Injury, Fantasy
Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano said RB Mike James (ankle) will miss the rest of the year with a broken left ankle.

This shouldn't be a huge surprised after it was announced last night that he had fractured his ankle. Brian Leonard and Bobby Rainey will combine to split the backfield duties. Both are worth a waiver wire claim as RB depth for your roster.

RB | Andre Ellington | Arizona Cardinals | Fantasy
Arizona Cardinals RB Andre Ellington took three direct snaps from center in the wildcat package in Week 10 against the Houston Texans, running for 12 yards on two of them and handing off the other time. Head coach Bruce Arians only plans to use the wildcat when the quarterback isn't on the field, and Ellington expects the team to use more of it moving forward.

Ellington is a solid PPR play every week, at least as a flex, even though Rashard Mendenhall is still technically the starter.

RB | Ben Tate | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Houston Texans RB Ben Tate (ribs) said he's improving while playing through four broken ribs. He ran for 56 yards on 15 carries in the team's Week 10 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, but wanted the ball more. "It's easier," he said. "I felt like I could move a little better, catch better and have a little more wiggle. Hopefully, it's getting better and better."

Tate is an RB3 or flex now that Arian Foster (back) will miss the rest of the season. Have Dennis Johnson or Deji Karim handy should Tate's ribs suffer a setback.

RB | Rashad Jennings | Oakland Raiders | Injury, Fantasy
Oakland Raiders head coach Dennis Allen said RB Rashad Jennings has earned increased playing time, even when RB Darren McFadden (hamstring) returns from his injury. Jennings has 190 rushing yards and has caught nine passes for 93 yards in his last two games filling in for McFadden. "It's a production business," Allen said, "and when he's had the opportunity to go in there, he has produced. When you do that, you get more opportunities."

Jennings should now be owned in most leagues, at least as insurance for those that also have McFadden on roster. Once DMC returns, Jennings could be used as a flex in deeper formats.

RB | Rashard Mendenhall | Arizona Cardinals | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians said RB Rashard Mendenhall was undoubtedly still the starter.

He fumbled late in the Week 10 game, but Arians gave his veteran a vote of confidence. However, Andre Ellington is clearly the Arizona back to own right now.

RB | Lamar Miller | Miami Dolphins | Fantasy
Miami Dolphins RB Lamar Miller 'led' the team's running backs with two rushing yards on seven carries in the Week 10 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while RB Daniel Thomas ran four times for minus-2 yards. Miller also had nine yards on two receptions, while Thomas did not have a catch.

It was a shockingly bad performance by the Miami rushing offense, which managed just two rushing yards against the previously winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense. Miller is only worth using as a flex fantasy option in the deepest of leagues right now, and Thomas can be dropped if you can find a more productive option. Check out Tampa Bay Buccaneers RBs Brian Leonard or Bobby Rainey, for example.

RB | Andre Brown | New York Giants | Injury, Fantasy
New York Giants RB Andre Brown (leg) was sore after the Week 10 win against the Oakland Raiders, but head coach Tom Coughlin said he was otherwise fine.

Brown burst onto the scene in his regular season debut, and will be a hot addition off the waiver wire by fantasy owners this week. He faces a tough matchup against a decent Green Bay Packers rush defense, but he should still be a decent low-end RB2 or flex play if he draws the start in Week 11.

RB | Ray Rice | Baltimore Ravens | Injury, Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said RB Ray Rice (hip) health has been a big factor in his disappointing season so far. Rice's longest run of the season is for 14 yards, and he's averaging just 1.62 yards per tote on 29 carries since he said he was healthy coming out of the Week 8 bye. Harbaugh suggested he may ride the hot hand out of the backfield as the season progresses.

Rice is more of an RB2 or 3 if this keeps up. Bernard Pierce hasn't been very effective, either, thanks to a struggling offensive line.

RB | Shane Vereen | New England Patriots | Injury, Fantasy
New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels said RB Shane Vereen (wrist) will have a role when he is activated from the Injured Reserve/Designated to Return list but is not sure when Vereen will be able to return. "As soon as he is ready and able to help us and we are able to play him, certainly he will have a role in the game. He definitely did make a big impact in game one. I don't know if we can expect him to do that right off the bat in his first game back, whenever that is. We'll look forward to having him back."

Wide Receiver

WR | Da'Rick Rogers | Indianapolis Colts | Fantasy
Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said WR Da'Rick Rogers could work himself into a prominent role in the offense for the rest of the season. "You've got a talented football player," Pagano said, citing Rogers' size, speed and big-play ability. "Now we are going to give him an opportunity because he's earned it." Rogers has apparently learned the system quickly. Rogers could push WRs Griff Whalen and LaVon Brazill for the No. 3 wideout job.

WR | Junior Hemingway | Kansas City Chiefs | Fantasy
Kansas City Chiefs WR Junior Hemingway will step into the starting lineup in Week 11 against the Denver Broncos if WR Dwayne Bowe is suspended for the contest.

Hemingway should only be an option for those desperate in cavernous leagues. There's no guarantee just yet that Bowe will be suspended this week, either.

WR | Darius Johnson | Atlanta Falcons | Fantasy
Atlanta Falcons WR Darius Johnson caught his first career touchdown in Week 10 against the Seattle Seahawks after playing 24 snaps in the game. He was elevated from the practice squad when WR Roddy White (ankle, hamstring) initially went down with injuries.

Johnson may be worth watching in deeper leagues, especially if Atlanta remains committed to limited White's workload.

WR | Roddy White | Atlanta Falcons | Injury, Fantasy
The Atlanta Falcons plan to monitor WR Roddy White's (ankle, hamstring) workload for the remainder of the season, and head coach Mike Smith said White was capped out at 55 of the team's 58 offensive snaps in Week 10. He had only one catch for 20 yards and was thrown to four times. Smith doesn't plan on another receiver taking White's role as the No. 1 receiver unless he suffers a setback. However, Smith hinted that the limited snaps for White would at least carry over into Week 11 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. "I think when you start talking about 55 plays, an average game is usually somewhere between 65 and 70," Smith said. "I think Roddy will play as many plays as we can possible give him. That (55) was on the upper limit, by the way, in terms of the number of snaps that we anticipated him playing." White said he felt fine after the game.

White should see his PT increase through the remainder of the season if he continues to prove he's over his nagging injuries. Still, he'll be a weak play at wideout until we see those snaps go up significantly.

WR | Miles Austin | Dallas Cowboys | Injury, Fantasy
The Dallas Cowboys expect to get S J.J. Wilcox (knee), DT Jason Hatcher (neck), CB Morris Claiborne (hamstring) and WR Miles Austin (hamstring) back after their Week 11 bye.

WR | Dez Bryant | Dallas Cowboys | Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones wants to see the team utilize WR Dez Bryant more in the offense after the star receiver was targeted just twice against the New Orleans Saints in Week 10. Bryant has 52 catches for 749 yards and eight touchdowns this season. "We need to get him the ball more," Jones said. "I think that's the kind of thing that's a reasonable thing that you can adjust over a two-week period that we're going into with our bye week. How do we work to get him the ball more?"

Bryant is often double-teamed by opposing defenses in order to make Tony Romo beat them elsewhere in the passing attack. Regardless, look for the Cowboys to go to him more than just twice when they return to action in Week 12. Bryant's back issues may have played a part in his lack of production against the Saints, too.

WR | Andre Johnson | Houston Texans | Fantasy
Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson has had five touchdown catches in the last two weeks with QB Case Keenum under center. He had five touchdowns in his previous 28 regular-season games before this stretch.

WR | Rishard Matthews | Miami Dolphins | Fantasy
Miami Dolphins WR Rishard Matthews made the start in Week 10 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Monday, Nov. 11, and he posted 11 receptions for 120 yards and two touchdowns. He was targeted 14 times.

Matthews will be a hot addition off the waiver wire, as he stepped up his play and outshined more heralded WRs Brian Hartline and Mike Wallace. Matthews is worth a flier as a WR4 or flex play going forward.

WR | David Nelson | New York Jets | Fantasy
New York Jets WR David Nelson is ready to face the Buffalo Bills in Week 11. He was stung last April when he found out on Twitter that the Bills had no plans to make him a qualifying offer. "I'm out to prove this week they made a mistake," Nelson said Monday, Nov. 11. In other news, Nelson won an appeal for the $7,875 fine he received in October for unnecessary roughness against the Cincinnati Bengals.

WR | Damian Williams | Tennessee Titans | Injury, Fantasy
Tennessee Titans WR Damian Williams (hip) is considered week-to-week with his hip injury.

WR | Percy Harvin | Seattle Seahawks | Injury, Fantasy
Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll isn't ready to declare WR Percy Harvin (hip) a go for Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings. "He's going after it this week and we'll see how far we can take it," Carroll said of Harvin. "We'll call this Phase 3. We also have a chance to have all three (starting offensive linemen) back and Percy just adds to it." Carroll said Harvin must practice every day this week in order to suit up this weekend.

Harvin is a very risky play this weekend if you've been stashing him. Even if he does play, he'll likely have his snaps limited. The Seahawks may just elect to play it cautious and hold him out with the team's bye week in Week 12.

WR | Michael Crabtree | San Francisco 49ers | Injury, Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh said he is not sure if WR Michael Crabtree (Achilles') will be activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list this week.

WR | Santonio Holmes | New York Jets | Injury, Fantasy
New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan said he believes WR Santonio Holmes (hamstring) will be able to play Week 11.

Tight End

TE | Rob Housler | Arizona Cardinals | Fantasy
Arizona Cardinals TE Rob Housler had a season-high 57 yards and his first career touchdown in the team's Week 10 win over the Houston Texans. Housler was slowed by an ankle injury in the preseason that had him get off to a slow start this year, but now that the offense appears to finally be clicking, he may be involved more. "It should be a great confidence boost for him," head coach Bruce Arians said. "Carson was looking for him a number of times."

Housler's big day was dependent upon his score, though, so he doesn't suddenly become a tight end worthy of owning. However, it could be the first sign that he'll be more productive in the coming weeks. Keep an eye on him.

TE | Kellen Winslow | New York Jets | Fantasy
New York Jets TE Kellen Winslow believes he was "weeded out" of the game plan in Week 5 as the team prepared for his four-game suspension. "Stuff goes on behind the scenes that ... look, they knew I was going to get suspended," Winslow said. "Sometimes you just kind of get weeded out or whatever. I knew I wasn't going to take the appeal if I got suspended. My knee was hurting, I'm weeded out of the game plan ... it was just a frustrating time." TE Jeff Cumberland was given a bigger role as a result, and Winslow played in only 19 snaps.

Expect the Jets to start getting Winslow involved again, but it may come gradually with Cumberland still in the mix. Consider Winslow a backup option for now, but he may have low-end TE1 appeal based on matchups.

TE | Jermichael Finley | Green Bay Packers | Injury, Fantasy
Former Green Bay Packers TE Mark Chmura said TE Jermichael Finley (neck) told him that he'll have neck surgery Thursday, Nov. 14. "I got a chance to talk to Jermichael Finley before the game, and I would bet my bottom dollar his career's over," Chmura said. "He needs surgery, and it's herniated in (the C3 and C4 vertebrae) I think it's gonna be a Nick Collins deal. He's definitely not gonna play in Green Bay, I'd put my house on that."

TE | Jimmy Graham | New Orleans Saints | Injury, Fantasy
New Orleans Saints TE Jimmy Graham (foot) played only 33 of the team's 83 offensive snaps in Week 10 against the Dallas Cowboys, but head coach Sean Payton said it was part of the game plan to limit Graham's snaps while he's been managing the pain of a partially torn plantar fascia in his left foot.

It's disappointing that Graham wasn't on the field all that much again Sunday, but it's likely his usage will go up as his health improves. It's very tough to sit Graham.
