Quarterback

QB | Eli Manning | New York Giants | Fantasy
New York Giants QB Eli Manning threw three interceptions in his team's 28-21 loss to the Chicago Bears on Thursday, Oct. 10. Manning now has 15 INT's in his first six games this season, the first quarterback to achieve that feat since Dan Fouts did it in 1986.

QB | Peyton Manning | Denver Broncos | Fantasy
The Indianapolis Colts plan to honor Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning for his 14 seasons with the organization when the Colts and Broncos play in Week 7 on Sunday, Oct. 20, owner Jim Irsay told USA Today Sports. "We're going to have a great tribute to him," Irsay told the newspaper. "It's going to be something where you go into it wanting to have a lot of fun, where you love Peyton as a Colt fan, but now we're competing against him." Details of the tribute have yet to be finalized.

QB | Christian Ponder | Minnesota Vikings | Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings QB Christian Ponder said he has been told who the starting quarterback will be for Week 6 but will allow head coach Leslie Frazier make the announcement. Frazier said he will not announce the starter until after practice Friday, Oct. 11. Ponder's body language indicated QB Matt Cassel will start the game.

QB | Matt Schaub | Houston Texans | Fantasy
The Houston Texans will be willing to bench QB Matt Schaub if he continues to turn the ball over because it would not be fair to the other players to keep him on the field.

QB | Colin Kaepernick | San Francisco 49ers | Injury, Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick (foot) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

QB | Jake Locker | Tennessee Titans | Injury, Fantasy
Tennessee Titans QB Jake Locker (hip, knee) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

QB | Ben Roethlisberger | Pittsburgh Steelers | Injury, Fantasy
Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (finger) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

QB | EJ Manuel | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills QB EJ Manuel (knee) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

QB | Blaine Gabbert | Jacksonville Jaguars | Injury, Fantasy
Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blaine Gabbert (hamstring) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

QB | Michael Vick | Philadelphia Eagles | Injury, Fantasy
Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick (hamstring) was limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

QB | Terrelle Pryor | Oakland Raiders | Fantasy
Oakland Raiders QB Terrelle Pryor plans to work with quarterback guru Tom House when the team is off in Week 7 to improve his throwing mechanics and to ensure that he won't regress. "His ability to escape, if the protection does break down, has been key for our offense," head coach Dennis Allen said. "Because at times, I don't care who you are, at times the protection's going to break down. And when it does, he's got the ability to make something and create something, and for the most part, it's been positive for us when he's been able to do that."

Running Back

RB | Adrian Peterson | Minnesota Vikings | Fantasy
Updating previous reports, Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson's 2-year-old son is in critical condition after he was allegedly severely beaten by his mother's boyfriend. Joseph Patterson, 27, has been arrested and charged with felony assault and battery of an infant. Law enforcement sources say the child suffered severe head injuries.

RB | Da'Rel Scott | New York Giants | Injury, Fantasy
New York Giants RB Da'Rel Scott (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury in the team's Week 6 game.

RB | Marshawn Lynch | Seattle Seahawks | Injury, Fantasy
Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

RB | Frank Gore | San Francisco 49ers | Injury, Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers RB Frank Gore (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

RB | Jamaal Charles | Kansas City Chiefs | Injury, Fantasy
Kansas City Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles (toes) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

RB | Alfred Morris | Washington Redskins | Injury, Fantasy
Washington Redskins RB Alfred Morris (ribs) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

RB | Ben Tate | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Houston Texans RB Ben Tate (elbow) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

RB | Shonn Greene | Tennessee Titans | Injury, Fantasy
Tennessee Titans LB Patrick Bailey (hamstring), LB Zaviar Gooden (hamstring), RB Shonn Greene (knee), DT Sammie Hill (ankle), DE Derrick Morgan (shoulder), OT David Stewart (ankle) and CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson (hamstring) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

RB | Arian Foster | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Houston Texans RB Arian Foster (chest, thumb) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

RB | Stevan Ridley | New England Patriots | Injury, Fantasy
New England Patriots RB Stevan Ridley (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

RB | Darren McFadden | Oakland Raiders | Injury, Fantasy
Oakland Raiders RB Darren McFadden (hamstring) was limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 10. McFadden practiced for the second straight day, and head coach Dennis Allen was "encouraged" by his progress. However, he would not say if McFadden would suit up in Week 6 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

With Oakland's bye week next week, expect the team to play it safe and sit DMC for a second straight game. Rashad Jennings and Marcel Reece are flex plays, at best.

RB | Rashad Jennings | Oakland Raiders | Injury, Fantasy
Oakland Raiders RB Rashad Jennings (hamstring) was limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 10. It was Jennings' second straight day of practice, and head coach Dennis Allen was "encouraged" by his progress. However, it's uncertain if Jennings will play in Week 6 versus the Kansas City Chiefs.

Jennings will most likely be listed as questionable this weekend, but he probably has a much better chance of playing than Darren McFadden (hamstring). Expect Jennings to share more of the load with Marcel Reece. Against a stout Chiefs defense, Jennings shouldn't be relied on as anything more than a flex play in deep leagues.

RB | Mark Ingram | New Orleans Saints | Injury, Fantasy
New Orleans Saints RB Mark Ingram (toe) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

RB | C.J. Spiller | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills RB C.J. Spiller (ankle) was limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

We fully expect Spiller to play against the Cincinnati Bengals. The matchup isn't the greatest, but Buffalo is likely to lean on the running game, if they can, to ease the responsibilities of Thaddeus Lewis. Spiller should serve as a low-end RB2 this weekend.

RB | Mike Goodson | New York Jets | Injury, Fantasy
New York Jets RB Mike Goodson (illness) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

RB | Chris Ivory | New York Jets | Injury, Fantasy
New York Jets RB Chris Ivory (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

RB | Bernard Pierce | Baltimore Ravens | Injury, Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens CB Chykie Brown (thigh), C Ryan Jensen (foot), OG Kelechi Osemele (back), RB Bernard Pierce (thigh), DT Marcus Spears (knee) and WR Brandon Stokley (thigh) were limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

RB | Chris Ogbonnaya | Cleveland Browns | Injury, Fantasy
Cleveland Browns RB Chris Ogbonnaya (concussion) practiced in full Thursday, Oct. 10.

A return to full practice is a great sign that Ogbonnaya will be back as the starting fullback this weekend against the Detroit Lions. He carries little fantasy value, however, with Willis McGahee getting the majority of touches out of the backfield.

RB | Ronnie Hillman | Denver Broncos | Injury, Fantasy
Denver Broncos RB Ronnie Hillman (ankle) practiced in full Thursday, Oct. 10.

RB | Ryan Mathews | San Diego Chargers | Injury, Fantasy
San Diego Chargers RB Ryan Mathews (concussion) is not participating in practice Thursday, Oct. 10. He has not been cleared to return to the practice field.

Mathews has been known as a slow healer, so it would not be a shock to see him sit out this weekend against the Indianapolis Colts. Danny Woodhead's matchup isn't great, but without Mathews around, it'd be hard not to find room for him in your lineup. Woodhead has much greater appeal in point-per-reception leagues.

Wide Receiver

WR | Miles Austin | Dallas Cowboys | Injury, Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys WR Miles Austin (hamstring) is practicing Friday, Oct. 11.

He should be good to go this week. However, Terrance Williams has had two big games in Austin's absence. Austin could lose time and/or targets to Williams.

WR | Lance Moore | New Orleans Saints | Injury, Fantasy
New Orleans Saints WR Lance Moore (hand) is likely out for Week 6. He could also miss a couple of more weeks.

It's been a tough season for Moore. Keep an eye on him on the waiver wire because he could be big for the fantasy playoff weeks.

WR | Percy Harvin | Seattle Seahawks | Injury, Fantasy
Seattle Seahawks WR Percy Harvin (hip) began running last week and has returned to Seattle to continue his rehab. The team doesn't expect him to be ready to play in Week 7, when he's eligible to come off the Physically Unable to Perform list.

WR | Larry Fitzgerald | Arizona Cardinals | Injury, Fantasy
Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

WR | Donnie Avery | Kansas City Chiefs | Injury, Fantasy
Kansas City Chiefs WR Donnie Avery (shoulder) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

WR | Ryan Broyles | Detroit Lions | Fantasy
Detroit Lions WR Ryan Broyles (knee) said he's ready to take on a bigger role in the offense after coming off a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee last season. "I feel good," Broyles said. "I feel capable of going out there and making plays. I feel like I want to do more." He's played in 87 of 202 offensive snaps (43.1 percent) since returning this year and has been targeted just six times. Broyles has five catches for 61 yards. And he played in 28 snaps last week, which was close to half as many as he had the week prior.

Broyles is a risky play until Detroit shows that they are committed to getting him more involved in the game plan. That probably won't happen right away, either, especially since it's looking like Calvin Johnson (knee) could return this weekend. Keep Broyles benched for now.

WR | Mike Williams | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Injury, Fantasy
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Williams (hamstring) was limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

Williams should be good to go against the Philadelphia Eagles barring a setback. The matchup is nice enough for Tampa even with rookie Mike Glennon tossing passing. Williams is a WR3 or flex this week.

WR | Aaron Dobson | New England Patriots | Injury, Fantasy
New England Patriots WR Aaron Dobson (neck) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

WR | Danny Amendola | New England Patriots | Injury, Fantasy
New England Patriots WR Danny Amendola (groin) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

WR | Stevie Johnson | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills WR Stevie Johnson (back) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 10. He's currently in California due to a death in the family, and head coach Doug Marrone said it'll be a "tough call" as to whether Johnson will suit up in Week 6 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Johnson has played in 53 straight games since he became a starter in 2010. He's not expected to return in time for the team's practice Friday, Oct. 11.

It's conceivable that Johnson will be able to play this weekend, but the fact that he is dealing with an injury and a death in the family and hasn't practiced all week is a major red flag. Plus, his value has dropped now that Thaddeus Lewis is at the helm. Play it safe and bench Johnson if you have the luxury of doing so.

WR | Santonio Holmes | New York Jets | Injury, Fantasy
New York Jets WR Santonio Holmes (foot, hamstring) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

WR | Jacoby Jones | Baltimore Ravens | Injury, Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens WR Jacoby Jones (knee) was limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

WR | Marlon Brown | Baltimore Ravens | Injury, Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens WR Marlon Brown (thigh) was limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

WR | Brandon Stokley | Baltimore Ravens | Injury, Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens CB Chykie Brown (thigh), C Ryan Jensen (foot), OG Kelechi Osemele (back), RB Bernard Pierce (thigh), DT Marcus Spears (knee) and WR Brandon Stokley (thigh) were limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

WR | Riley Cooper | Philadelphia Eagles | Fantasy
Philadelphia Eagles WR Riley Cooper played 75 percent of the snaps and was targeted just once in the team's Week 5 win over the New York Giants. In the first four games, he had played 93 percent of the offensive snaps and averaged 4 1/2 targets and two catches. Cooper has eight grabs for 93 yards and a touchdown this year. Head coach Chip Kelly and offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur have defended Cooper, but WR Jeff Maehl has seen his playing time go up recently. Maehl's snaps have gone from 12 to 20 in the last two weeks. Shurmur said Maehl is "more familiar" with the offensive game plan which "makes him be able to go in there and execute faster." The team plans to continue to increase the repetitions for Maehl, which will likely hurt Cooper.

Cooper should have only been owned in very deep leagues as wide receiver depth. Maehl fits a very similar profile.

WR | Cecil Shorts | Jacksonville Jaguars | Injury, Fantasy
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts (groin) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

It's unclear if Shorts had a setback or if the team is just being cautious and keeping him out today. Either way, this is something to keep an eye on heading into Sunday. If Shorts doesn't play, Justin Blackmon's value will go up slightly.

WR | Eric Decker | Denver Broncos | Injury, Fantasy
Denver Broncos WR Eric Decker (ankle) practiced in full Thursday, Oct. 10.

WR | Andre Johnson | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson (shin) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

This one is likely to go right up to game time, so keep a close eye on his status the rest of the week. If he plays, he is a must-start in all formats.

WR | Kenny Britt | Tennessee Titans | Fantasy
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt is in the doghouses of offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains and head coach Mike Munchak after lackadaisical play this year and plenty of dropped passes, but the team won't make him inactive in Week 6 against the Seattle Seahawks. Britt believes he can play better and has an explanation for all of his dropped passes. "I believe it's attacking the football, like I've been doing in practice. I feel like I've gotten away from it in the game, and that's what I need to do is go back and focus on attacking the football," Britt said. "That's one of the things I want to get back to is attacking the ball, and coming downhill when the ball is in the air and going up and getting it. That's one of the things I've gone back to in practice and I want to carry over to the field on Sunday."

There is a small glimmer of hope for Britt, but you shouldn't trust him to your starting lineup this week, especially against a very gifted Seattle Seahawks secondary.

WR | Julio Jones | Atlanta Falcons | Injury, Fantasy
Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (foot) will undergo season-ending surgery on his foot Monday, Oct. 14. Jones suffered a fracture in the same part of his foot that was fractured after the 2011 Scouting Combine.

Tight End

TE | Rob Gronkowski | New England Patriots | Injury, Fantasy
Updating an ongoing story, New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski's (forearm, back) representatives have serious concern over the health of his left forearm. Multiple industry sources said his arm might have recovered properly on its own if he hadn't had a plate surgically implanted into his arm to return to the field last season. A source said there is serious concern over the integrity of the bone and surrounding nerves near the plate. There are also concerns that an abscess developed following the surgery that caused an infection and weakened the bone. Gronkowski's family and representatives were made aware of the issues and advised him to hold off on returning until it could be determined if the bone had fully healed. This led to the decision to have Dr. James Andrews evaluate him.

If Dr. Andrews clears him for Week 6, this is mostly a moot point. However, it is interesting to learn of the dissention between the team and Gronk's camp. His long-term health is certainly in question if a forearm he has broken twice has an unstable bone. Our gut feeling says he won't play in Week 6.

TE | Zach Miller | Seattle Seahawks | Injury, Fantasy
Seattle Seahawks TE Zach Miller (hamstring) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

TE | Vernon Davis | San Francisco 49ers | Injury, Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers TE Vernon Davis (hamstring) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

TE | Jordan Reed | Washington Redskins | Injury, Fantasy
Washington Redskins TE Jordan Reed (thigh) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

TE | Heath Miller | Pittsburgh Steelers | Injury, Fantasy
Pittsburgh Steelers TE Heath Miller (non-injury) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

TE | Kellen Winslow | New York Jets | Injury, Fantasy
New York Jets TE Kellen Winslow (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

TE | Greg Olsen | Carolina Panthers | Injury, Fantasy
Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen (foot) practiced in full Thursday, Oct. 10.

Olsen had his walking boot off today, as well. We expect him to suit up Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings barring a setback. Consider him a midrange TE1 option.

Place Kicker

PK | Blair Walsh | Minnesota Vikings | Injury, Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier said PK Blair Walsh (hamstring) is expected to play Week 6 even though he left practice early Thursday, Oct. 10, after injuring his hamstring.

PK | Matt Prater | Denver Broncos | Injury, Fantasy
Denver Broncos CB Champ Bailey (foot), TE Joel Dreessen (knee), OG Chris Kuper (ankle), LB Paris Lenon (thigh), PK Matt Prater (calf) and C Manuel Ramirez (ankle) practiced in full Thursday, Oct. 10.
