OF Colby Rasmus, Toronto Blue Jays

Fantasy owners picked up on the fact that the Jays activated Rasmus (oblique strain) from the disabled list last week. How could they not? Hopefully they got in on the ground floor: He's homered in each of his four contests since his return to action. Rasmus has gone 6-for-15 with a quartet of round-trippers to begin a possible difference-making roll to close out the season.

SS/OF Billy Hamilton, Cincinnati Reds

Speaking of difference-makers, Hamilton received his first start, on Wednesday at the Houston Astros. He played in center field, went 3-for-4 at the dish and swiped four bases. He now has as many stolen bases (nine) as plate appearances. Will Dusty Baker continue to play him? The arrangement may be what makes Cincy most dangerous, but don't count on Baker to do it.

SP Johnny Cueto, Cincinnati Reds

Remember him? The Reds had to forget about him for a while. He made his first start in nearly three months on Monday and helped to dispatch Houston with five shutout innings, with a walk and five strikeouts, for a W. Tony Cingrani's back problems give Cincy's skipper license to move the lefty to the bullpen and to see whether Cueto is finally ready to hold up.

Andrew Cashner ... no one cares?
