First Baseman

1B | Ike Davis | New York Mets | Fantasy

He had a "hard-hit ball" in only 9.6 percent of his at-bats, which accounted for the fifth-worst rate among major leaguers. His problems with chasing were compounded by his .333 slugging percentage on pitches along the strike zone. He's also 9-for-100 in two-strike counts.

Second Baseman

2B | Logan Forsythe | San Diego Padres | Injury, Fantasy
San Diego Padres 2B Jedd Gyorko (groin) was placed on the 15-day DL with a strained right groin. INF Logan Forsythe (foot) was activated from the DL and is playing second base Monday, June 10.

SS | Derek Jeter | New York Yankees | Injury, Fantasy
New York Yankees SS Derek Jeter (ankle) has not been cleared to run yet, although he is hoping to get that clearance this week when he visits Dr. Robert Anderson. "It's day to day, really," Jeter said. "I've got to stay away from impact. I can't jump; I can't run until I get final clearance."

Third Baseman

3B | Mike Moustakas | Kansas City Royals | Fantasy
The Kansas City Royals are expected to give 3B Mike Moustakas more time to improve now that George Brett has taken over as interim hitting coach. They want Moustakas to have a chance to work with the Hall of Famer. KC also doesn't have a sound replacement for Moustakas. Johnny Giavotella is learning to play third at Triple-A Omaha but is hitting .220 in 35 contests since May 1. Miguel Tejada is simply a part-time player at the moment.

3B | Alex Rodriguez | New York Yankees | Fantasy
The Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks contacted the New York Yankees last November, through an intermediary, and said they had interest in acquiring 3B Alex Rodriguez, according to two baseball officials with knowledge of the request. New York never participated in discussions because they knew of Rodriguez's significant hip problems and there was no chance Rodriguez would permit this transfer.

OF | Ryan Braun | Milwaukee Brewers | Injury, Fantasy
Milwaukee Brewers OF Ryan Braun (hand) is not in the lineup Monday, June 10, while being replaced by Logan Schafer. He might sit out the entire series against the Miami Marlins, according to manager Ron Roenicke. Braun started feeling the injury to his right hand about a month ago after a swing. His thumb was originally numb for about a week, but he eventually got feeling back in it. However, he said there's an issue with a nerve and ligament in his hand, as well, located between his index finger and thumb.

The training staff hasn't been able to help curb the issue, but taking time off has helped. "We've tried all kinds of different treatments, then we tried different stuff in the batting glove and on the bat to try and relieve some of the pain," Braun said. He hasn't been able to drive the ball as effectively since the injury, despite tinkering with his swing and bat path. The team isn't ruling out a disabled list stay.

OF | Wil Myers | Tampa Bay Rays | Fantasy
The Tampa Bay Rays don't have any plans to call up OF Wil Myers from Triple-A Durham within the next week or so, contrary to what's been reported in national media outlets. They remain intent on having him continue developing at Class AAA, especially since the offense has woken up since mid-April.

SP | Clay Buchholz | Boston Red Sox | Injury, Fantasy
Boston Red Sox SP Clay Buchholz (neck) has made some progress with his neck issue, but is likely to miss his next start. Buchholz is not expected to miss much time after that though. "He feels better today," said manager John Farrell. "Over the next couple of days, we'll get a better idea of when his next start will line up. Most importantly, he feels improved over (Sunday). He's going to be pushed back (from his scheduled bullpen) a couple of days at a minimum, but we'll take the same approach we did last time (when Buchholz got skipped after experiencing some soreness in his AC joint) - once everything is cleared up, that's when he's going to go.

SP | Matt Moore | Tampa Bay Rays | Fantasy
