San Diego Chargers offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt said he believes QB Philip Rivers can get back to his Pro Bowl form this season. Whisenhunt said he believes Rivers can make all of the throws and is impressed with Rivers' ability to read defenses.

New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez said the notion of him not starting Week 1 hasn't crossed his mind. "Conch House security video captures Mr. Jones-Drew rapidly approaching Mr. Howard from the back-left side and sucker punching him in the jaw," Anderson wrote in the statement.
