Aric Almirola | No. 43 Smithfield Ford | Richard Petty Motorsports
Almirola's car was also claimed in a CMS wreck and cost him three spots in the standings. He raced Dover for the first time in a Cup car last year placing sixth in the spring and 19th in the fall. Almirola notched four straight top-10s earlier in the season and is among the deeper middle-tier options to target.
Mark Martin | No. 55 Aaron's Dream Machine Toyota | Michael Waltrip Racing
Last year, Martin qualified on the pole for the spring race but finished 14th despite an average running position of sixth and 43 laps led. Martin has been something of a risk lately and has not finished on the lead lap in any of his last three starts. The other JGR cars have been sound performers all season, though, so Martin should be fine going forward.

Paul Menard | No. 27 Menards/Libman Chevrolet | Richard Childress Racing
Menard is currently eighth in points but has just one top-10 finish in his last seven starts. In 11 career starts at Dover, Menard owns a single top-10 and has finished outside of the top 15 in four straight. Menard is still in search of his first top-five of the year, so his place in the standings is far from secure.
Greg Biffle | No. 16 RiteAid Ford | Roush Fenway Racing
From 2005 through the spring of 2010, Biffle scored two wins, five podium finishes and nine top-10s in a span of 11 races. However, the Biff has since placed outside of the top 15 in four of the last five. Over the last four starts of 2013, Biffle has finished outside of the top 30 on three occasions.
