A Twitter question from @john_chou:
Neil Walker/bench player or Ben Revere/Nick Franklin (both of whom would start)?
Really depends on context: What do you need? Where are your strengths? Who's the bench player you're talking about?
Not knowing the full situation, give me the latter side. Revere at least fills a category need with his stolen-base speed and, though he's flipped between hitting near the top and near the bottom of this order, he's been running regardless of lineup position.
My preseason excitement about Walker has dissipated, and while I still think he can approach the power he showed last year, there isn't much about his profile that'll give you a big edge in the standings. Franklin has a similar makeup, actually, and should receive enough playing time to justify taking the second pair.
In cases like this, especially in deep leagues, you should often opt for the duo that'll make a big difference, especially if a generally mediocre player like Walker is whom your trade partner is paying for.
