Third Baseman

3B | Will Middlebrooks | Boston Red Sox | Injury, Fantasy
Boston Red Sox 3B Will Middlebrooks (ribs) had a double and a home run Wednesday, May 15, and although he said he's still having trouble catching his breath and sleeping on his right side, it appears as though he's coming out of a slump that had his average at .200 and his on-base percentage sitting at .231. "Whether it coincides with the collision, and I mean that with all sincerity, he's not pulling off the ball as much," manager John Farrell said. "He's staying to the middle of the field, and that's when his power really shows and the bat stays in the zone longer."

Catcher

C | Chris Stewart | New York Yankees | Injury, Fantasy

OF | Jayson Werth | Washington Nationals | Injury, Fantasy
Washington Nationals OF Jayson Werth (hamstring) felt some tightness in his strained right hamstring and visited the team's specialist in New York to get examined on Thursday, May 16. A team spokesman said Werth, who went 1-for-2 for Class A Potomac on Wednesday and aimed to play for them again Thursday, isn't expected to return from the disabled list Saturday, May 18, as previously planned. OF | Jarrod Dyson | Kansas City Royals | Injury, Fantasy
Kansas City Royals manager Ned Yost is riding hot streaks from OF Jarrod Dyson (ankle) and 2B Elliot Johnson right now, and he indicated that he doesn't mean he's going with platoon setups at those positions. "I could play (Jeff) Francoeur (on Friday) against a right-hander," Yost said. "Then it's not a platoon. I'm going day-to-day right now. Dyson is swinging the bat well, so he's playing more." Dyson's availability is in question for this weekend, though, after he sprained his right ankle Wednesday, May 15. Dyson has started five of the team's last eight games and brings speed to their lineup. Johnson is the team's primary utility player in the infield, but he's started eight of the last 14 games with 2B Chris Getz hitting in a 4-for-47 (.193) slump.

Dr. Neal ElAttrache fixed Greinke's collarbone by putting a metal plate inside it to stabilize it. Greinke felt some soreness in his collarbone during a swing in the second inning, but he recovered and got an RBI single.
