Quarterback

QB | Peyton Manning | Denver Broncos | Fantasy
Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning wants the offense to play faster in 2013, even though the unit finished tied for the fourth-most offensive plays last season. Manning wants the Broncos to get closer to the league-leading New England Patriots, who ran 1,191 plays (74.44 per game). "For whatever reason, our offense plays better the faster we go. I think that was clear cut last season," Manning said. "The receivers liked it; they got into a rhythm. Anything we can do as an offense to build off that, anything we can do to make us more efficient as an offense, that's what we're looking to do."

QB | EJ Manuel | NFL Draft Prospect | Draft
Florida State QB EJ Manuel said the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets and Buffalo Bills, who own top 10 picks in the NFL Draft, have all made him feel like there's a good chance they'll select him. "I feel really good about the Philadelphia Eagles, I feel really good about the Buffalo Bills, I feel really good about the New York Jets," Manuel said. "I met with even more teams than that, but those are some of the teams I feel really confident in. I know they need quarterbacks, I know they want quarterbacks, they have brand new coaching staffs and things like that, so they want a fresh start. They want an energetic kind of quarterback to come in and play."

QB | Michael Vick | Philadelphia Eagles | Fantasy
Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said Tuesday, April 16, following his first practice with the team he is in no rush to name a starting quarterback for the 2013 season. Kelly wants to create competition between QBs Michael Vick, Nick Foles and even Dennis Dixon. "There wasn't one set guy that just went with the ones the entire day," Kelly said. "All those guys got an opportunity to roll through ... It's April 16, so we're not playing until next September. We're going to use the full available time for us to make a full evaluation of what it is. I think it fosters competition. I think those guys love competition. That's why they're in that position, and they know it."

QB | Tony Romo | Dallas Cowboys | Draft, Fantasy
The Dallas Cowboys gave QB Tony Romo a contract extension through the 2019 season, but that doesn't mean the team will not select a quarterback in the NFL Draft next week. "I think it's all opportunity," executive vice president Stephen Jones said in a radio interview Tuesday, April 16.

"I'm biased, he's my friend, teammate, he's my quarterback," Joseph said. "But the thing that's going to make Josh 'the guy' is his team. His team is going to make him the guy. It's everything that's going to make Josh the guy."
