Updating a previous report, there is no timetable for the return of 2B Logan Forsythe (foot). He felt a "pop" in his foot in the last spring game March 26, and he was diagnosed with a partial tear of the plantar fascia in his right foot. "We were going to try and manage the pain, but once it popped, I couldn't stand it," Forsythe said.

Upton became the 10th player since 1916 to have at least six long balls through his team's first seven contests, and the only Braves player among this group of 10. He believes he's on a mission to prove that the Arizona Diamondbacks were wrong to trade him away.

Milwaukee Brewers RP John Axford has been replaced as the team's closer by RP Jim Henderson, at least until Axford can figure out his early-season struggles. Axford has given up four homers and has a 20.25 ERA in three appearances to start the year, giving up eight hits and six runs in 2 2/3 innings. "I told (Axford) that I want him to be our closer," manager Ron Roenicke told reporters. "How we think is the best way to get him back in that role is pretty much what we did with him last year - put him back in wherever it's going to be: sixth (inning), seventh, maybe eighth, and let him get his stuff back."
