2013 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Chance Warmack, OG, Georgia

Alabama offensive guard Chance Warmack is a rare prospect and should be one of the first offensive linemen selected in the 2013 NFL Draft. The senior paved the way for first-round selections of Mark Ingram (New Orleans Saints) and Trent Richardson (Cleveland Browns) the last two years, with Alabama's Eddie Lacy being in the conversation this year.

Stout build at 6-foot-2, 317 pounds
Long arms for his height - 34 3/4 inches
Has started 40 games at left guard
Laterally agile but strong and balanced enough to anchor against bull rushers
Strong initial punch
Dominant at the second level

Intelligent player with the ability to diagnose defensive schemes
Hard worker, team-first player
Zone-blocking experience in a pro-style offense

Weaknesses

Sometimes is to vertical coming out of his stance
Could improve his footwork - didn't pull a lot at Alabama
Lacks elite recovery speed

Expected draft placement

Warmack is an elite prospect and one of the best interior linemen to come into the NFL in recent memory. He is a top-five talent among all prospects and has a solid shot at being a top-10 pick.

Look for the Arizona Cardinals (No. 7), Buffalo Bills (No. 8), Tennessee Titans (No. 10) and Carolina Panthers (No. 14) to be in the mix for his services in the first round.
