Texas A&M defensive end Damontre Moore enjoyed a season for the ages in 2012, which helped vault him into being arguably the best defensive lineman in the 2013 NFL Draft class.
Moore was the first Aggies' defensive lineman in 20 years to lead the team in tackles (80) in '12. He posted 12.5 sacks and 20 tackles for loss. In 2011, playing rush linebacker in a 3-4 alignment, Moore racked up 72 tackles in 10 starts, forced four fumbles and recorded 8.5 quarterback takedowns. Strengths
Weaknesses
Expected draft placementMoore has all of the physical tools to dominate in the NFL. He best fits a Tampa 2 system. If teams view him as a 3-4 'backer as a pro, look for a possible trade up into the top five to land his services. With that in mind, it is hard to imagine Moore falls past the defensive end-starved Detroit Lions (No. 5). About Cory J. Bonini
