1) Andrew Cashner, SP, San Diego Padres

Team: Josh Shepardson, Baseball Prospectus | Roster

He's a health risk, and continuing his transition from reliever to starter adds further risk as well, but his huge heater, pitcher-friendly ballpark, and his ability to induce groundballs at a high rate make him a breakout candidate.

Texas Rangers OF Leonys Martin
Martin a flier

2) Tyler Colvin, 1B/OF, Colorado Rockies

Team: Mark Bloom, RotoExperts/SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio | Roster

One day the Rockies will get wise and give Colvin 550 AB. I'm hopeful that will finally happen in 2013!

3) Michael Brantley, OF, Cleveland Indians

Team: Ray Flowers, Baseball Guys/SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio | Roster

Not that far away from being someone of note. He was one of nine outfielders to go .288-6-60-63-12 last season.

4) Leonys Martin, OF, Texas Rangers

Team: Bill Macey, Baseball HQ | Roster

Martin enters spring training battling Craig Gentry for the starting CF job but is the far better offensive player. If he secures the full-time job, there's 20-20 upside in this bat.

5) Chris Iannetta, C, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim

Team: Jeff Paur, RTSports | Roster

I wanted a third catcher with Brian McCann on my roster. The pick came down to Iannetta and Rob Brantly. I took Iannetta because I like his power potential more, something I feel my team lacks a bit.

6) Jeff Keppinger, 1B/2B/3B, Chicago White Sox

Team: Michael Stein, The Hardball Times | Roster

In continuing to build my bench, having players with multiple position eligibility was a priority. I was very pleased to grab Keppinger here because he is projected to be the White Sox starting third baseman after signing a three-year deal with Chicago. Plus, Keppinger qualifies at all infield positions except shortstop, which is great flexibility to have.
