1) Wil Myers, OF, Tampa Bay Rays

Team: Josh Shepardson, Baseball Prospectus | Roster

It's highly likely Myers will open the season in Triple-A in order to manipulate his service time. Regardless, his upside is worth gambling on at this point in the draft. As my fourth outfielder, he won't derail my team's chances at success should he scuffle.

Party time for Myers?

2) Neil Walker, 2B, Pittsburgh Pirates

Team: Mark Bloom, RotoExperts/SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio | Roster

After taking Rutledge I thought I would wait on 2B, but I was surprised to see Walker around this late. Walker is often overlooked, but he has solid numbers and will hit in the middle of the order for the Pirates this season.

3) Kenley Jansen, RP, Los Angeles Dodgers

Team: Ray Flowers, Baseball Guys/SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio | Roster

It looks like Brandon League will be the closer to start the year, but I expect Jansen to lead the Dodgers in saves just like he did last season. Just a massive arm.

4) Matt Garza, SP, Chicago Cubs

Team: Bill Macey, Baseball HQ | Roster

I'm not overly concerned with Garza's recent injuries. All reports from camp suggest that his elbow is healed and that the recent side strain is mild. This late in the draft, it's hard to find a SP capable of a 180-K season, so he's worth the risk.

5) Lance Lynn, SP, St. Louis Cardinals

Team: Jeff Paur, RTSports | Roster

I'm not sure why Lynn is going so late in drafts. He had 18 wins and nearly 200 strikeouts in his first year as a starter. Plus, he made the All-Star Game last season. He did fade toward the end of the season but much of that was because he logged a lot of innings and likely wasn't in the shape he needed to be to hold up over a full season. He dropped a lot of weight this season and looks ready to take on a bigger workload.

6) Derek Jeter, SS, New York Yankees

Team: Michael Stein, The Hardball Times | Roster

I was very pleased to get Jeter in the 17th round. True, he is coming off of ankle surgery. But Jeter will be filling my Middle Infield slot and all I am looking for is a good batting average, lots of runs scored, and some stolen bases mixed in. I fully expect Jeter to be ready to go on Opening Day. After the season he had in 2012, he has proven there is enough left in the tank for at least another season.
