Mark Adickes, the surgeon that performed Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III's (knee) first knee reconstruction, said Griffin may have completely torn his lateral collateral ligament on a play in the first quarter in the Wild Card playoff game before he threw his second touchdown. Adickes has talked with Griffin's family since his latest knee reconstruction and indicated Griffin believes he tore his LCL in the first quarter.

New Cleveland Browns vice president of player personnel Michael Lombardi said he will keep an open-mind on QB Brandon Weeden and WR Josh Gordon. Lombardi has been critical of both players on NFL Network. Lombardi said he will watch plenty of film on both players and also watch two days of practice from 2012 before making an evaluation on the players. Lombardi also told Gordon he has nothing to worry about.

A specialist cleared Jones, but doctors at USC would not clear him and he transferred to Georgia.
