If you are serious about winning your fantasy league football championship, stay on top of your fantasy football team throughout the year.
Each week during the NFL fantasy football season, KFFL brings you its Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, which breaks down players to pick up. Be aggressive when picking up fantasy football free agents. Even if you do not need a player, you can tuck him away for depth or block others from adding him to their fantasy football team.

Fantasy football free agents: One-week plays
The following fantasy football pickups are for those who need injury or bye week replacements. They are not players you immediately acquire - unless your team is in dire straits. Some have, however, shown some life and should be followed in case they materialize as options beyond their temporary use.
Buffalo Bills (64 percent)
Things have come completely unglued for the New York Jets, who turned to Greg McElroy in Week 16 over Tim Tebow and Mark Sanchez. McElroy was sacked a whopping 11 times by the San Diego Chargers and also turned the ball over twice. Outside the 50-point barrage by the Seattle Seahawks the Bills defense has not played poorly of late, but clearly it's the matchup that makes them an attractive play this Sunday.
NEW - Oakland Raiders (91 percent)
If you throw out the San Diego Chargers' inexplicable dismantling of the Pittsburgh Steelers, they've allowed 4.67 sacks and posted 1.33 giveaways per game over the last month. This week they put the final notch on the Norv Turner era against the Raiders, who have been playing quite well defensively in recent weeks. If you're seeking an under-the-radar play, rolling the dice against Norv one last time doesn't sound like a bad way to go.
