In this article KFFL breaks down the fantasy football sleepers of the week. We will avoid marquee names because players of that caliber are rarely benched, regardless of their matchup. Instead, we will focus on the players that make your fantasy lineup decisions stressful each week. Read on to learn which midrange to low-end players you wouldn't necessarily consider that you need to get into your lineup.

Fantasy football sleepers: Running backs

Jacquizz Rodgers, Atlanta Falcons at Detroit Lions

Fantasy value: Flex

Goodson: good to go

• Rodgers has touched the ball 11.0 times for 55.3 total yards and 0.25 touchdowns per game, giving the Falcons a competent complement to Michael Turner. Atlanta should continue to work Rodgers a little more with the playoffs nearing to help keep their veteran bruiser as fresh as possible for late-season football.
• Detroit's run defense has been susceptible all year, but they allowed three ground scores to Beanie Wells last week to inflate the numbers a tad. Even still, this group is giving up 5.0 yards per carry (22.3 attempts for 110.5 yards) and 4.75 grabs for 25.3 yards per tilt to enemy backfields.

Danny Woodhead, New England Patriots at Jacksonville Jaguars

Fantasy value: Flex

• Woodhead was the star of the Patriots' backfield Sunday night against a tough San Francisco 49ers run defense. He caught five balls for only 23 yards but managed 61 rushing yards on 12 attempts and scored twice. Most of his work came after Stevan Ridley put the ball on the ground twice and Shane Vereen also coughed it up. Be aware that Woodhead's workload could regress this week if Bill Belichick has forgiven Woody's backfield mates.
• Even if he has, it may not matter against the Jags. This defense should give up plenty to anyone and everyone touching the ball out of the Pats' backfield. Jacksonville has given up 157.8 offensive yards and a score per game to the position.

Mike Goodson, Oakland Raiders at Carolina Panthers

Fantasy value: Flex

• In his first meaningful work in two months, Goodson accounted for 89 rushing yards on 13 carries and added one grab for 14 yards. He failed to find the end zone, although that kind of involvement in what ended up being a 15-0 win is encouraging. Goodson ripped off a 43-yard run and averaged 6.8 per carry. He will remain second fiddle to Darren McFadden, but Carolina's run defense should provide Goodson an opportunity to make a few big plays.
• The Panthers have allowed 143.3 offensive yards - 112.3 of which has come on the ground - to running backs. The position has averaged a touchdown per game and 5.2 yards per carry against this shoddy run D. As long as Oakland can keep it close, look for Goodson to have a role in the game plan.
