Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: RB - Week 15 (with video)

If you are serious about winning your fantasy league football championship, stay on top of your fantasy football team throughout the year.

Each week during the NFL fantasy football season, KFFL brings you its Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, which breaks down players to pick up. Be aggressive when picking up fantasy football free agents. Even if you do not need a player, you can tuck him away for depth or block others from adding him to their fantasy football team.

Fantasy football free agents: Priority additions

The following players should be high on your radar and are worthy of being added immediately to your fantasy football team.

Bilal Powell, New York Jets (74 percent)

Bilal Powell, RB, New York Jets
Benefits from K.I.S.S.

With the Jets now employing the K.I.S.S. offense (Keep It Simple Sanchez), Powell has become their second-most valuable player behind running mate Shonn Greene - and that is even arguable. In the last four weeks, Powell has carried the ball 54 times for 218 yards and four touchdowns; and he's coming off his best performance of the year in Week 14 (19-78-1).

Don't look for Rex Ryan to take the shackles off of Mark Sanchez again this season, which makes Powell a legitimate contributor moving forward.

NEW - David Wilson, New York Giants (53 percent)

With Ahmad Bradshaw (knee) nursing a balky knee, Wilson stepped in and ran all over the New Orleans Saints in Week 14. The rookie carried the ball 13 times for 100 yards and scored twice - he also added a 97-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.

Wilson has explosive speed and could play a major role down the stretch for the Giants depending on the severity of Bradshaw's sprained knee.

NEW - Joique Bell, Detroit Lions (41 percent)

With their receiving corps in shambles, the Lions have shown a willingness to run more frequently in recent weeks. The main beneficiary has been Bell, who has averaged 59 rushing yards and 22.67 receiving yards per game over the last three weeks. That's decent production for those in need.

Fantasy football free agents: Look to acquire

The following players will have greater significance in deep fantasy football leagues. In shallow fantasy football leagues, they are not as high of a priority but should be considered based on your fantasy football team's needs.

Montell Owens, Jacksonville Jaguars (82 percent)

Forced into action by a lengthy string of injuries, Owens looked strong and decisive with 14 carries resulting in 91 yards and a touchdown. Next week's opponent, the Miami Dolphins, struggled to contain the San Francisco 49ers' backs on Sunday - 22 carries, 102 yards, two touchdowns. If Owens remains the top option he holds some decent short-term value.

NEW - DuJuan Harris, Green Bay Packers (100 percent)

Harris had a couple of eye-opening plays in his 2012 debut, running through a would-be tackler on his first carry and later going untouched on a 14-yard jaunt to the end zone. He's expected to share touches with Alex Green and Ryan Grant the rest of the way, but when Aaron Rodgers goes out of his way to single someone out for praise (as he did with Harris on Sunday night) there might be something there.
